If you really want to have the mig 29 G specifically, just grind it out.
We can not say reliably if there ever will be a premium version of the mig 29G specifically.
There is a chace we could get some premonition mig 29 soon tm since the F 16 just got its first premium version at a br close to the other mig 29s.
Plus I would not advice you to just buy yourself to the top tier of jet gameplay.
There is a lot of stuff to learn about top tier gameplay before you can start having fun.

Su33 is just plain better at the same BR and you can buy it outright or wait for squadron research. Germany premiums for high tier air are all pure garbage atm, you are better off throwing a talisman on the mig21bis, maybe f104 if you prefer that. Of course the problem with talismans is SL gains don’t keep up with RP gains.

MiG-29 at this point is just dogwater. Gaijin nerfed its FM because of their mistake putting R27ER to a plane with weak radar and tried to nerf it by nerfing the FM and giving it R60. it should’ve only got R27R and R73.

29G is fully outclassed by other 13.0 aircraft, mainly the Su-27, and the 29SMT is bad. The MiG-29 never went without r73 irl as it was the main missile for the aircraft and its doctrine. It’s like not giving the F-14 the AIM-54. The 12.7 ones should lose the r27er and gain the r73 but not allow r73s on the inner pylons for balance (forcing a 2x r27t/r and 4x r73 loadout rather than 6x r73)

Nah. There are no AIM-9M x AIM-7F/M/P aircraft(which would be the equivalent), and if there were going to be one it would have been the F-18s just added. The closest is the F-16ADF, which still only has 9Ls and sits at 12.7.
ER allows it to sit competitive at 12.7 when it’s downtiered, R-73 will push it to 13.0 where it won’t be.
Maybe because that sits too low at 13.0? Shocker. Almost like that’s the entire reason I tell people to kick rocks when they beg for it to come down to 13.0 in SB.
If only that mattered to the devs.

I don’t think the current MiG-29 is equal to current western 12.7 jets. I also don’t think having only R-73 with only R-27R as backup is going to be oppressive.

Only if you also think about 50-60% of 13.0 also should be higher. Su-27 isn’t exceptionally strong at 13.0 it’s just on the higher end of the normal bell curve.

why limited? it can carry 6x r73 (without r27s)
WIthout the ERs and with R-73s, I think that it would both be too good for 12.7, but not good enough for 13.0.
Once again, decompression is the answer.
What sim really needs is a 13.3 (and 12.3) max BR bracket.

Yes, because 12.7+ compresses 2.0/2.3 BRs into just 1.3.
Hot take: FM is perfectly fine and comparable to the ADF, adding R-73 will only push this further in the MiG-29s favor. 97% of the people you face in game are not good 1v1 duelist and will still lose in guns vs a MiG29.
That certainly is what you say. It loses in any real skilled fight where the other guy knows how to exploit the 29’s giant weaknesses, in my experience.
