Rear aspect r73s are essentislly free kills. Unles the enemies trhottles to 0% and spawms 60 gazillion flares. Theyre still fov gatewidth afterall even if slow
F14b should have 9ms
wow 2 years later and this video was probably from a test server… and this discussion was in a time where the f14´s dominated so much 70% of the lobby had a us jet. they still complained about the r60m which was as good as it is now about being too op while the 9l was still not implemented as it was now(was more flare resistent).
another sad thing was that they wanted to implement hms sight which was practically useless after removing the r73 from the basic mig29…

Seems he changed his target from J-7D to F-18C then R-73…
