The images are real, but in DPRK fashion; theres barely any info
how many arh missiles can it carry, 6?
from what small info and most articles talking about it, it seems like a development from the PL-12 which doesnt seem to unrealistic for a NK weapon

It definitely visually resembles the PL-12, but it might have Russian tech.

I don’t think we’ll ever know for sure, tbh. In the event this gets added to the game they could just pick either the R-77 or PL-12 and go with those stats, given that they aren’t too different from each other
Does it get an upgraded radar, or is it still using the antique n019?

is there any proof of them having the r27er in service?
IRIS-T copy, first seen in 2021. In September last year, North Korean hackers breached Diehl Defence and presumably got the rest of the info they needed.
The other missiles are the PL-12 derivative, seen properly in May this year.

It’s commonly claimed (by e.g. IISS), but I’ve had a look and I can’t actually find any mention of them in any reputable source. I’ll need to look further though.

Its cause the original 9.12b models weren’t compatible with the e versions of the r27…
Though i only have the radar operations manual for the 9.12b, I would assume its radar is the same as the 9.13b and thus not have the upgrade for the r27e, I’m not sure there’s any differences other than the ecm in the hump.
