i went back to the Mig-23MF (HUAF) after the br decompression, using it with R-23R and R-60M’s and its horribly unreliable with its radar lock at all ranges. spam, tap does not matter it will sometimes just never lock the target that’s head-on speeding at me.
Unless there is some magical way to get it to work this needs to get buffed. Give it ACM mode or buff something that will make the lock more reliable and not an RNG slot machine
The mig 23 mf isnt bad, probably one of the best 11.0 currently, even with the unreliable radar it is quite good if you compare it with its actuals peers, and if you have issues with the lock just use the radar like you would on a radar without ld/sd and you will do fine, or even with just use the r23t

The plane really became garbage, what was the point of introducing rebuilt MiG-23s into the game to make them outright garbage after a while?
It’s worth saying about R-23 missiles in general that they are the worst missiles, there is no point in them.
Congratulations to everyone who spent time to get it in the promotion - you were deceived in the most brazen way. Although, as usual, what else can you expect from this company.
