Why do they go with 50 CM instead of using the same configuration used by Fitters (256 CM)? Shouldn’t it be more advantageous to have more flare and importantly chaff so they can saturate larger area for longer time because of capacity than just having small amount of big CM?
IIRC most jets these days use spectrally matched flares and magnetic chaff or something, so you dont really need the numbers or saturation. Check out how the Rafale only has like 48 or so flares cause they’re supposed to be spectrally matched flares that emit similar IR and UV signatures as the engines to fool modern dual band IIR seekers. This unfortuantely is not modeled in-game
