but we have to prove it to give it a better seeker.
the problem is not to address what we think it should have, but to give it performances it deserves thanks to IRL datas
that’s what have been for MICA’s (bug reports been made for that)

The issue with getting seeker performance is that the aim 120 a and b are still used by many nations hense why it is still classified
Compared to france there is sone documents out there about the seeker itself that are somewhat public plus the seeker is used on other missiles like the aster which basically has an enlarged version of the micas seeker
found docs that are unclassified.
MICA is still in service in several countries; yet French Secrecy is far more reductive than US one,… so there might be some docs to found.

I personally feel that MICA has worse seeker than before the update, and it’s even more easy to notch. However, it seems they improved BVR performance in exchange for that, particularly in terms of speed.
YES! Rafale is literally imbalanced, there is a reason why there are more people playing France than USA rn
Mica’s are hell. They re like KH-38 in ground rb. Totally unbalanced.

Which players? Those that have the exact same performance as the Chinese in their copypasted mirage? Like, K/B being the same down to 0.01?

Lets not, as we have already. The 12.0 mirage spam has been obnoxious for the last ~9 months for sure, probably even more. At this point in time playing FR is exactly as mainstream as USSR/GER, if not more. With player skill being at that level, give or take.

ASRAAM/IRIS-T/MICA-IR /… - but that’s pretty it
F/A-18C is capable of carrying 120D’s, aswell as the Super hornet and some F-16 models. and there is a good chance they add meteor with the Gripen as its the last aircraft that isnt in that game that can carry them, those being the Rafale, EFT’s & ofc Jas-39E (i say this obv excluding the F-35). SO to say that there’s no chance of them being added you’re saying the Super hornet & Gripen-E in is unlikely in the next 7 months and i just disagree
they can still come with AIM-120C and AIM-9X/IRIS-T only
Maps of WT aren’t able to give us enough room for Meteors/AIM-120D BVR fight
Current airspawns are closer to each other (70-90km) than most of those LR missile’s NEZ (usually 120+).
ehh i feel you, it depends what br they get added at, if they add the super hornet at a higher br purely for its EW capabilites it would probably be DOA. idk im expecting a bigger powercreep then we expect, the leaks going silent and the insane powercreep last holiday patch. the meteor missile is a big one aswell tbf.
Oh no those aircrafts are very likely to come, just not those missiles, at best we might see the next gen IR’s, but meteors and aim120D’s? Not with the current meta and game mode design.
not in-game yet (SPECTRA should be getting EW capabilities as good if not better than F/A-18E)
AIM-9X and MICA-IR would powercreep enough for next patch/early 2026 - no need for gamebreaking missile that would be destroying teams in about 2minute of match.
they wouldn’t add the Jas-39E without EW, or the Super hornet, a EW suite on the Gripen is the only way the Gripen gets added without being equipped with the meteor missile like the Rafale with the Mica-EM. it simply lacks in flight performance compared the the Rafale and EFT
Similarly with the Super hornet they could add it without EW and just with 9X’s & or 120D’s, or with EW & armament upgrades at the same time and a 14.7-15.0 br (without another decompression), and i wholeheartedly don’t believe MICA-IR would be healthy for the current game without other jets to fill the gap LIKE the Gripen, Super hornet, SU-35 etc
