I think it’s a big mistake to put the basket on the Merkava because, unlike the Leopard, the only good thing it had was its survivability. The Leopard has armor, it doesn’t matter if it has a basket. However, if the Merkava gets a basket, it will be even more useless than the Ariate because it has no armor at all. It’s heavy, and now, as the apfsds pass through the armor, will hit the basket 100% of the time and the tank will be immobilized. No survivability whatsoever.

idc if it has basket it is unbalanced it will make merkava useless
