Your circumstancial evidence is not proving any of your claims. Its proving that naval is less profitable than air/ground and senrai tanks have less sales than og ones. Not that naval is unprofitable and not that the senrai tanks are bad profit for the work put in. When are you going to understand that?

To make that statement you would have to know what the work actually is, which you don’t, which is precisely my point that you simply don’t seem to understand.
They had to make vehicle skins, animated girls, decals, pillows, pfps, wallpapers, custom voice lines and a trailer. Compare that to a bland premium that had literally no promotion with it. It’s obvious what took them longer to make.

It’s not, because as per Gaijin themselves the by far most expensive part is the vehicle model itself which are copy and paste. And you said it yourself, it’s AI slop which is well known to be cheap.
All Senrai premiums are just reskins of vehicles already in the game. They could be using AI slop for other stuff as well which then isn’t really a point.
Senrais offer far more beyond a normal, average premium as you get pfps, pillows, crew voiceovers and a standalone trailer to go with it. Keep in mind, that trailer is almost as long as a trailer for their major updates.

I think not wanting War Thunder to turn into WoT is a valid concern. There are no other alternatives. WT has always been the more realistic and authentic one. It’s why I’m here.
Anime tanks, crossovers, etc ruins the little authenticity the game has left. Continuing to support this trend normalises it. Which is a slippery slope for more egregious additions.

Except for a unique model which is the biggest cost factor. And for the other stuff it’s precisely what I said: you have absolutely no clue about the cost or work associated with that so you can’t make an informed statement about how worth the investment was for Gaijin. Literally only Gaijin can do that and it was probably worth considering that they did it twice now.

Ok so I’m looking at some of the promotional images that use the CG model from the short with the jankier union flags on the mantlets, which I believe is a sort of ‘beta design’, and I’ve noticed something.
The flag doesn’t have the shooting star motif with the AI Watermark-shaped thing, like. At all.
If we look at the top view, we can see that the definitely AI-Generated element of the final design is uh. Also different here.
The GenAI ‘Senrai Maidens’ Albums seem to be missing here, replaced with what… seem to be a collection of Actual Metal Albums, or at least album covers with actual bands on them. Presumably these were replaced last-minute because Metallica are. famously litigious.
