Meet the Auction!

At least add the ability to resell the items bought from auction.

I pretty much never post on the forums despite being an old veteran of the game, but this is just a wee bit too far in the race for FOMO and monetization.

I have put a decent chunk of money into it, but this is just sad. It reeks almost of desperation.

I want to bid on Ersatz M10.

You will be able to re-sell coupons, as it’s stated in the article:

  • Players who purchased camouflage coupons will not be able to sell them on the Market immediately, but after at least 180 days.

The ability is already here
Of course they wouldn’t miss a chance to double-dip on GJCN destruction

Ah ok. I thought coupons were automatically activated.

Thats the problem, you can. People will bid on them thinking these items will sell for loads on the market but then nobody wants to buy them

You cant even preview the items in game before you bid on them…

AFAIK It’s not a player created content.

You are truly insatiable. I’ve had enough of this ugly face. I look at those sky-high prices in pain and misery—this is what you really are. What’s the difference between this and gambling?

If we overlook the downsides of the auction then we can see that it can help some F2P players to earn some GJN. Gaijin just needs to bring a few more rules so that trolls cannot abuse this.

How is that supposed to help f2P players get some GJCN ?!

you can already. play the events and sell the stuff on the market. thats what I’m doing. The Auction is just more money cash grab from Gaijin

Buy something for 1gjn then sell it for more.

IF 1 GJN coin is enough and IF people want to buy it for 1 GJN Coin. right now the minimum bidding is 3 GJN coins

You sort of have to hope this gets picked up by gaming new publications like last time if theres to be any course correction. Its a shame players saying no isnt enough but sometimes you need a “F2P War Thunder introduces another moniezation system and Players aren’t happy” headline.

Stupid artificial scarcity just to make money for Gaijin.

Wow, just when I thought Gaijin had reached rock bottom with the Market, copy-paste events/battlepass and gambling lootboxes they go and bring out the drilling machinery. This is absolutely nonsense.

As a console player I have to thank Sony and Microsoft for (most likely unintentionally) protecting their players from this kind of predatory monetization.

So after fighting against bots and paying god knows how much for a camo that’s free on WTLive I can then keep it for half a year and sell it for a fraction of what I paid for it?

Sounds great, can pretend I’m a stock broker right before the Wall Street crash

Besides console players not even capable of joining them I am pretty sure.

This is absolutely an attempt to just get more money from us.

Please do not implement this, Gaijin Entertainment.
