i would assume the point of doing it this way is to be able to play previous vehicles, not pad someone’s wallet or crash the market on certain vehicles.

They got their excess naval profit from huge Moffet and Knox demand, but the changes to the economy made them less sellable to air/ground mains.
Frank Knox arrived in the BP shop less than 12M after initial release - was that an error? a sign it wasn’t selling any more? Or a desperate attempt to boost naval by using an existing ship rather than actually tackling underlying issue?..sadly odd naval decisions isn’t new, in fact it’s almost expected now.

You are in the minority but for a lot of people being able to get passed vehicles they didnt get a chance to get is a nice option. If your so well off in the game i really dont understand why you are so upset.

So u would refer SL over a premium Vehicle? So why i dont get a previous event vehicle too? for example a coupon? or some GE to buy a low tier premium vehicle? So why do I, as a loyal customer, get the worst reward possible?
And why is it better to get and old prem vehicle for some players then a new one for all (including me and other loyal customers)?

Copy past argument is completely invalid. This is a game thats free to play. you do not need to buy the battle pass. They give you a game to play, you are able to play it. Being so dramatic as you are means you probably need a break.

Mate, you are still getting the Sholef and PBM-5, which together are at a higher value than the asking price of the BP.
They finally are adding a very reliable way to let people get access to previously exclusive vehicles and if you already have them you get SL as compensation, just like you would in the SL crates.
There shouldn’t be BP exclusive vehicles to begin with. Again, this is being done to let people that didn’t get to acquire the previously exclusive vehicles at the time they were available get their hands on them.

Very happy to see fewer time-locked vehicles being added, that’s always a positive for the long-term health of the game. Same for the ability to get previously unobtainable vehicles, a very welcome addition!
It sucks that it’s RNG though, that’s the next-worst thing after time-locked content. Especially with a tiny pool to choose from too. It should really be the ability to manually choose any previous vehicle instead, or at the very least far more than four.
I would love to see BPs move further in this direction, ideally with purely three choices of previous event/BP vehicles (one each air/sea/land) with events being the only time-locked vehicles added.
