6.7 ultimately just ends up seeing a ton of prop gameplay where the me262 will just eat when flown by anybody halfway competent.
In a full downtier it’s quite capable when facing people who have no Idea what to do who let themselves be picked out.
In an uptier people who know what to do in 262 have no chance against aircraft that outperform it in every metric.
Those Ju-288 & co. teams really could do with some support against full Super-Prop fighter teams.
Once the 288s are shot down you have a full team of super props some at altitude against you.
Alternatively we could of course conclude that while A2a is quite decent A1a Jabo but especially A1a are simply victims of Br compression to be left untouched.

In a downtier it kills props, period. This whole “props can fight jets and win!” thing is purely driven by bad jet players, and not by the good plays of prop players. There is no opportunity to kill a good 262 player fighting your p51 or f2g or spitfire

Nah, the 262 sucks and belongs at 6.7. Hitting props with those awful guns alone is already enough of a handicap.

Nope, just unbeatable if flown correctly against props. We don’t need compression.
A perfectly played 262 will survive in a downtier but if there are multiple props especially super props at various altitudes you wont get a kill without risking it.
Well played super props certainly can fight early jets.
Especiallyy early jets.
In some matches you simply wont be able to do much if you want to survive and I am talking about a downtier here. In a uptier it can be much much worse…

Like, the Me 262 has speed, but props gain energy much quicker.
So how are you going to shoot down a prop?
They either dodge forever or they force a head-on.
And with the poor ballistics of the MK 108, and the damage output of 20mm cannons, you don’t have any real advantage.
Dodging bullets of a P-80 is much more difficult and likewise in a head-on his rounds are going to hit much quicker than 30mm Mineshells that are much slower and lose velocity faster.
So it would be quite difficult for Me 262 to have a clear advantage over props.
At least not in 1 vs. 1 type scenario.
The reality might look different.
Combine fast planes with decent turning planes and one team generally has a advantage.
At least in your general WT lobby.
Afterall, only a fraction of the enemy team is going to be Me 262s in a downtier.

I honestly agree if your smart you can demolish teams
The guns are good you just have to learn them
The guns are awful and a straight downgrade to any other in every regard except damage. I’d rather have MG FF/Ms.

This is simple skill issue
They’re only good if you can hit the target, which is difficult on a plane like the Me-262. They have exceptionally poor ballistics, an unremarkable firerate, and a mediocre ammo count. They just aren’t good on the Me-262.
I would want the non rocket Me-262s to all be 6.7 with an airspawn, and the rocket ones to be 7.0 and 7.3/7.7 without an airspawn.

This might be a little too much even though their climb is suboptimal. But without this BR change being in the game its hard to say.
30mm is supper good vs props and jets i can hat a mach 1 mig 21 flying by me you just gotta leran it like any gun sure its jarder but it doesnt warrant a br change
me262 gets out performed by everything at the BR of 7.0 a P-51-H5 F7F F8F MK-24Spit could easily knock it down

it what way you havent answered how do you win me262 only has a speed advantage which you can negate in props by climbing then diving
Climbing then diving… I’m sure the 262 also can’t just do the same thing right? This is like asking how a F-104 can beat a slower jet like a MiG-15… by repeatedly attacking it while not giving it a way to fight back through bnz attacks… just as this Me-262 does when used by any competent player against props.
