Ngl i am a part of the problem my self i just researched them and moved on never used them bc of how hopeless the early German jets experience is
Well a lot of things are, that doesn’t mean they should get uptiered into oblivion since the annoying thing is a thing you don’t play.
It’s better they become useless than they ruin the games of 7.0s.
The problem is the way snail handles data, planes that are not being played just get ignored forever since there is nothing in place to prevent this from happening, then you just get the random person who plays a few games with it and it might even get uptiered.
Personally, I’d put the Me-163 at 8.0, and the Ki 200, and the 20mm one at 8.3. However, I am leaning towards moving them even lower due to the compression above 8.0.
The biggest issue is that 8.0+ is so compressed. Mig-15s and Sabres should be 8.7 at the lowest in an ideal situation.
I’m sure the 3 battles a month it gets used is ruining your experience.
yes. Any battle where all its enemies are completely helpless is ruinning their experience.
Point me to who is helpless here?
Which is exactly why it’s at 8.7 not at 8.0.
But man, one can only imagine what it’s like to be that FJ-4B
The 7.0 to 9.0 is hell they are just up tiers non stop and the difference between plains from br of 7.0 to 8.0 or 9.0 to 10.0 is massive, hell i gave up on 7.0 Germany bc of how garbage the 262s and the 229 are against things like Mig-15s
Even here the 163 struggles to do anything, the battle takes place 20km ahead of me and you can’t catch them.
It’s a similar situation as the Zero where you can only punish idiots and are a victim to everyone else.
Certainly doesn’t struggle against F-80s or an F3D
And the F-80 in turn shits on everything else.
Meh not really. It’s agile and has somewhat decent acceleration (certainly not the best for an early jet though). Its guns are very weak and it’s not super fast. It’s certainly competitive, but counterplay is pretty easy.
Besides, all the planes that would suffer to F-80 would suffer even harder to an 8.0 Me 163
The F-80 is faster than a lot of the things it faces, the 262 is a brick in comparison and unlike the 163 that’s at the same BR, still fights a lot of prop planes and faster than almost all jet planes at it’s BR.
And yeah they might struggle more against the 163… that’s why it’s a full BR higher than the F-80.
It’s not faster, It’s just easier to keep its speed with. Me 262 can go quite a bit faster and has better guns, but loses more speed in turns. Also idk why ppl think prop planes are hard to play against jets. Props can climb far faster than jets can.
All 262s are listed with a lower top speed, a lower rate of climb and a higher turn time and they all handle like a brick.
Even if there are prop planes that would outclimb you, it’s irrelevant when you’re faster.
Also .50s make life a lot easier than having to micromanage your low velocity .30s opposed to having 2000 rounds of ammo to just spray down anything.
I’m guessing the reason Me 262s fly faster is due to performance at different altitudes.
Most prop planes can easily outrun early jets by just diving on them.
I far prefer 20mms or 30mms that 1-shot than spamming loads of peashooter .50cal
the F-80 isn’t even the best early jet. Su-9 and Su-11 are both far more oppressive.
F-80s do 900 at sea level, 262s do less than that and they need to be at 6000m, at sea level they’re a lot slower.
Most of the 262s are at 6.7, even the 50mm one.
