I have noticed that the reload speed on the KPz-70 is 6 seconds, while the the reload speed on the MBT-70 is 7.5 seconds despite being basically the same vehicle. Is it possible that the KPz-70 has a different autoloader?
they do have different autoloaders
the mbt 70 does have a nearly useless advantage of a faster reload for the missiles

Yes.
The German KPz 70 uses a Rheinmetall version instead of the American OTO Melara version in the MBT70. This made the APFSDS and HEAT shells on the XM150E5 cannon capable of being loaded faster, but the Rheinmetall autoloader noticeably cracked the plastic ATGM outside casings of the Shillelagh missiles while in operation, so they had to be hand-loaded, whilst the U.S. MBT 70’s autoloader was more compatible with ATGMs, making it load faster but not the other regular aforementioned shells.
