I think those are fair points, may I offer a disagreement with justification.
It might be Nostalgia but to me at least the MBT-70 and the T-64A are the benchmarks for what 9.3 should be.
In my opinion, the MBT-70 is one of the most capable vehicles and firing platforms in the game and that is compared to any other MBT. I think it’s an excellent vehicle that is only held back by it’s firepower.
That said the T-64A is in many respects the opposite side of the Coin, excellent firepower, with ‘serviceable’ to less than average mobility with a combination of protection and a low profile for surviveability.
People talk about compression a fair bit, but I think there’s a few tanks that could site at 10.7 before moving the MBT/KPZ

I don’t think so, I have both the MBT-70 and the KPZ-70 and they both work identically for me. As far as I’m concerned they are the same vehicle.
The T-10M can solo the Object if you load the APDS/HEATFS beforehand, I got killed a few times when I underestimated it lol same situation the IS-7 wouldn’t have been able to do anything unless it found turret ring gap or land the capula shot, BUT I do however find the biggest problem the T-10M having is the reload timer, which ultimately result in its current predicament, but if we lowering it to 8.0 then it will be a bully full downtier, so what I really hope is they reduce the reload timer to 12.5s ACE and keep it at 8.3, its a no brainer to be 8.3 when its armor barely work and everything it faces can fire twice as many rounds and they have a much higher angle-pen minus the post-pen damage.
And oh, regarding the Object 279, you will have to play it and you will change your mind lol it’s not as OP as everybody thinks, only people who never played it say such a thing. And I DO hope you get it because you and I both hate CAS, and seems like they’ve fixed the bomb resistance and I took around 7-8 and for the past two days and didn’ die, it’s so back bro.
HEAT/APDS won’t oneshot the 279 and it will get its gunner back before the T-10M reloads.
And if you don’t the T-10M will never be able to kill you.
The reload should be like 10s. Currently it’s one of the most frustrating tanks to play if you face anyone that has a brain.
Sure you’ll oneshot if you pen but you also get oneshot yourself thanks to the terrible crew layout.
I wish I did the fucking event during covid. This and the AGS are the only event vehicles I really want but I hated high tier at that time so I didn’t bother. Sadly no way to get them nowadays.
Idk about that. There were quite a lot of vehicles that play exactly like you think they will and so far I’ve rarely had my opinion on them change after getting said tank/aircraft.
The bomb resistance seems fairly inconsistent now tbh. Died to some tiny bombs that landed next to my IS-4 while in other matches you can survive a 4000lbs bomb to your face. I think if the code has a retard moment it counts the low roof/hull floor instead of the thick front/side armor.

I did, there’s nothing ground breaking in it. You’ve stated you’re thoughts and opinions clearly enough but I’m not convinced changing the BR is going to improve anything, I feel like it’ll make more things worse and have a negligible impact on the tank you’re aiming to help.
I stand by my statement that the MBT/KPZ are functionally identical. I stand by my opinion that a better solution would be to see if there are any 10.3s that could go up before trying to drop the MBT-70 to 9.0.

This one only weights 0,87kg but does the same amount of damage as the other 2 while only having a third of the weight.

The MBT-70 is one of the worst vehicles at its BR. I cannot tell you it any other way.
It cannot go to 9.0, since it would be superior to the XM803, so your solution would not help the situation.
The XM803 would be too strong at 8.7, so it must stay at 9.0.
The KPZ-70 is noticably better, and the 2K (which is superior to the KPZ-70 in pretty much every way other than reload) is now 10.0.
If we uptier the KPZ-70, at least then the MBT-70 wouldn’t be objectively worse than it, and would have a niche (although a fairly small one) at its own BR.
The other option is to uptier most of the overperforming 9.3s to a higher BR, but that would require even greater decompression than we have now.
That’s barely enough for one trip to the local strip club to get a private dance bro, and you also pay for the one and only bomb resistant vehicle that could troll CAS noobs, which significantly cut down the bomb death by 500% bro you gonna enjoy it bro
