If a vibes-based system for determining flight performance was accepted for Fw-190 climb rates surely we could extend that to aircraft mass. “It feels much heavier than I think it should, here’s the manual for your consideration.”

and when they changed it to match sustained tern figures, and then reduced its weight without adjusting it back to those turn figures
I mean u can prove emtpy mass without datamines with modifications and if devs ask you how do you know its 1,8% (coz they really dont want to fix it) you can proove with good accuracy its that also by using all other planes that have known empty masses also without datamining. Everything with an error due to rounding and some planes not matching their sources, but in case of MB326K its good enough to point out wrong mass without datamining.
And then you have to hope they just dont ignore the report.
Alternative proposal is a gigantic scale on all test drive airfields that you can taxi your jet to in order to weigh it accurate to the nearest 10 kg.

Tiny bit off topic Im happy I dont really do non naval reports cause god damn trying to get anything through is crazy hard. Not even the denied thing but just getting any reply at all. Meanwhile naval report have near guaranteed reply.
That is so stupid that it genuinely is making me angry. It is an in game tool that requires no actual datamining, literally just a change to your config.blk file in order to access it.
How else are you supposed to report the incorrect weight of a plane? There is quite literally no other way BESIDES actual datamines.
This seems more like Gaijin’s devs would rather not do their job, so they limit all the tools at a player’s disposal so that bug reports don’t get accepted, and therefore they have less work to do.

I would just wait till the end of dev anyway to see what they do with it. I know very little about mb 326 so idk how much WIP the fm is still.

I’m sorry but how does this get passed when the reporter is clearly using some kind of third party software to display weight, aoa, sutained turn and other values? How does this not count as “datamining”?

I agree, epsecially since in that exact video he is using localhost8111 to obtain the turn rate information.
Which according to gunjob should never be used and report using it should never be accpeted.
Why are reports still being accepted and yet my report using the same localhost tool is closed?

local host has been used for literally years to make reports because its not classed as “Datamining” because the information is obtained literally ingame.
There is even a button in the main game options menue called “Open map in browser” which when you click it opens localhost for you to display all the extra information you normally cant see, yet it is classed as datamining now?
Its really does not make any sense and simply makes everything so much harder to bug report. : (

yeah forgot about those, Theres literally T/W P/W ratios and wing loading in the offical WT app doesnt get less datamine than that. Its total weight i think but still maybe useful and you can get fuel mass from that too. Just wild theres no mass in actual game nowhere.

You can use the default values in the localhost browser, you cannot use the FM tools.

Thanks for trying anyway, I guess we just have to wait until some kind of other route arrives to be able to report these kind of things.
