Standard PS5 runs the game in 4K at locked 60 fps.
Well then, if I ever upgrade to a PS5 Pro I’ll keep this post in mind.
Heh WT being one of the 55 first games? It’s just like the original PS4 being one of the first games to be playable (plus it was the backside boxart coated in the red logo of WT).
Hey grom will you be implementing PSSR in the firebirds update. atm I assume it’s using dynamic resolution scaling.
but it should support 4k 120 FPS
Theoretical capabilities of the hardware are one thing, but practical application is another, heavily dependent on type of the game and CPU/GPU load. So in the case of War Thunder, it can’t run the game at 120 fps.
@OrsonES @gromvoiny How do I check this? If the TV supports up to “4K 144Hz” it should be ok right?
Also will the PS 5 pro support the game at its top graphical settings? Or will it have limitations?
Will that include all of the new features and amazing visuals shown on the trailer en dev?
So the only difference between PS5 and PS5 Pro for war thunder will be the 120 fps?
Yes, that’s right, except for the fact PS+ subscription is not required for WT🙂
Really not? But I doubt this would stay forever. I still have some memories of World of Tanks being somehow fully accessible on my Xbox One and I started to really enjoy artillery Tanks, and then eventually it demanded me to subscribe so I can keep playing.
You have to check your console settings for video output.
It’s something between max and movies settings in the PC launcher.
Some of them yes
Right now yes, but there will be more improvements in major update.
Oh yeah 😎😎😎
War Thunder doesn’t require PS Plus for 11 years at this point. And neither Game Pass on Xbox for the last 3 years or so.
Hater 💩
Interesting and awesome, thanks for the answer.
Thanks for the answers!
And what hurts that Sony lied that games on the regular ps5 will be in 4k 120fps and as it turned out that you have to buy a pro, it’s a big surprise, eh consoles when it dies
No they didn’t they said it supports 4k and 120 they didn’t say all games would be 4k 120
Would still like to know if PSSR will be supported. It is on Enlisted and they specifically mention in there news for it. But nothing on the warthunder news post mentioning it.
Now I know there is an PS5 pro version of the game it is really hard to keep it in his box like planned until my birthday in 3 day 🫠
I’m still playing War Thunder on an Xbox Series S at whatever the frame rate is. Some maps slow down my system. Not everyone is rich and can afford to buy the latest tech, and it goes out-of-date so fast it’s barely worth it. I’d rather buy a car :D
I only play free-to-play multiplayer games on my Xbox, so I haven’t paid since 2021. Multiplayer isn’t worth it anyway, I have to spend ages shopping around trying to find other players, because I play too many obscure or old games. Remember that a decent PC will cost $2,000 NZD or more, but a Series X or PS5 will only cost $800 NZD, which is the cost of a normal graphics card these days. So it’s subsidised and sold at a loss, and they make the money from selling subscriptions.
Ya this. Xbox was a little slow to reduce the barrier, but it wasn’t that long ago that many people would buy 12 months up front because they loved the system. The main downside to Xbox these days, is that the new controller was designed for a little girl’s hands, and as an adult male it’s just uncomfortable. Apart from that, Xbox and Playstation are pretty cool overall. It fills a lot of time especially when I was badly sick in 2023.
Woooow only for pro, plus PlayStation plus to play with others, + no market place pay 499 GE to get an camouflage + buy it do 100 GE I think and you can’t even choose which ones to get, and mostly all ps5 play only have the normal version, come on gaijin do something for the normal ps5, like I felt like a dog when it says ( ONLY FOR PRO NOT NORMAL VERSION) nice just nice,
Also if you want to sell your create it gives you ONLY 25 war bounds. THAT THEFT IF YOU ASK ME
