Hi folks!
Anyone else notice this?
As a few minor patches ago, Mavericks tend to look to the extremem right or left of their sensor view, instead of staright ahead. This also with no target marked.
This is the case in Sim EC and using VR, not sure if other gamem odes and display methods are affected as well…
Also, Sim EC ground battles SPAAG’s seem to have jedi-like long distance aiming again…
Yes, I have this problem too. I have no idea how to aim Mavericks now in Sim in VR, do you have any tips?
You can aim your hud at the general area where you want to fire, then “mark” the spot (command “Activate target point”), and the Seeker will look at that point and can be aimed.
This however very restrictive and will need to be done roughly for every run.
I’m actually not flying my beloved Warthogs until this is fixed. It’s killed me more times recently than enemy fighters.
Also, please support the corresponding bug report here, thx: Community Bug Reporting System
Designating targets in VR Sim is pretty hard, especially with a Hotas.
I have a T16000M and after noticing Gaijin has yet to make Joystick TGP controls bearable , i just started using my mouse. I have it right next to the flight stick.
Oh and in order to avoid the Mav Seeker/TGP swinging to the side be sure to spam “Deactivate Target Point” a few times and before going into the Mav/Tgp cam.
If that doesnt work , also press “Activate Target Point” once or twice before switching cameras.
