Martel AS-37AR antiradar missile

Problem is, i didn’t find any reliable sources about the ARMAT actively being used during the IRAK-IRAN war (by Iraqi F1)

even if you did, it’d probably be F1EQs, which are not in game, and which the french research tree would need to get if it ever hopes to have :

  • a complete Mirage F1 line (F1B / A > F1C / CT > F1EQ > F1EM)
  • an exocet-capable Mirage F1 (either F1EQ-5 or F1EQ-6 to attack the USS Stark in 1987)
  • a Mirage F1 capable of using laser-guided bombs (the F1CT carried LGBs but relied on a Mirage 2000 for the targeting pod, F1EQ-5 had the LDP1 EQ)

It wasn’t an F1 which attacked the Stark but a modified Falcon 50 though. That being said, yes, a exocet capable F1 would be nice. Not the only one, in fact. A Mirage 5 did also carry the exocet, would be nice to see that as well.

@MasterHight

They had the capability of using them, and dassault sold the mirage 2000 as being capable of such; the french airforce never employed them on the 2000 because they had to give some use to the jaguars they already had.

And the op should also add the Mirage 2000 to the list of planes that can carry the martel/armat , it uses the same hardpoints as the fuel tanks or the exocet missiles.

The stark wasn’t the only ship hit by exocets in the iran irak war, just the one notorious for getting hit by 2 exocets at the same time.
