I’ve been playing this game for a long time, and with each passing year, the events are becoming useless. They feel more like a ‘necessary’ waste of time to stay in the game or as ‘fuel’ to grind a nation I’m unmotivated to start, rather than being enjoyable events themselves.
I was expecting the Boxer, with its great maneuverability, powerful cannon, and relatively high survivability compared to other more robust vehicles, to be priced reasonably. Once again, I’m disappointed with the market—people are desperate to sell their vehicles, and well… some bots among them are selling for even lower prices.
Previously, in any event, you could at least acquire a pack or around 6,000 GE. Nowadays, thanks to the rise of our beloved automated friends, pulling 4,000 GE is already a lot, since a market rule has been established that WHOEVER SELLS FIRST makes a profit.
The market should require account registration, maybe using personal data to be able to list event vehicles for sale. Something like that might help normalize prices to what they used to be and possibly increase their value, since there would be fewer ‘automated’ accounts able to bypass this registration efficiently.
I’m starting to get worried about the event vehicle market slowly being destroyed. The company remains silent, doesn’t put a stop to it, and refuses to comment on this issue. We used to estimate a minimum value of around 30 dollars for event vehicles from previous years, but now we can guess the value at less than 20 dollars and still be surprised if it exceeds 22. You spend two weeks and four days grinding an event, putting in 3 hours, and some people even 4 or 5 hours a day, only to end up working for 18 CENTS PER HOUR.
( Especially when you consider the fee that Gaijin takes for mediating the sale )
Bro, is it really worth it? Is the time spent worth it when in the end you can’t even get 4,000 GE out of this or even a $65 pack? Maybe you won’t even be able to get a $45 pack during a 50% off promotion MAN, THIS IS ABSURD.
