Man-in-the-Loop: Guidance Mode for Munitions with TV and IR Seekers

A-10 Late. Literally more ordinance with more reliable tracking

Can we launch IR or TV that has access to GNSS in GNSS mode now as well?

And the GBU-53.

Is it known how this will be implemented?
As in the F-15E could carry 28 of these IR guided glide bombs which could overwhelm the best AA we have let alone the worst.
Are the devs planning to cap how many aircraft can carry?

Wym how?

You sit in your spawn, launch the Spike and look for a target, then lock it and repeat

Yeah

What’s the point of the man-in-the-loop thing when it doesn’t seem to help with how these bombs / missiles approach targets since it seem you’ll only be able to relock to a different target if i’m reading it right… isn’t just that makes the LMURs even better again? Since their angle of impact and explosive mass is already better than the rest? with Spikes and such you will only be able to chose what vehicle you want to get a “hit” on from reading the devblog…

At least french has two other choices

You can only guide a single one via MITL at a time

😂

Hover above helipad to reload while firing and guiding. Ace crew reload on Helis: 10 seconds. Now THAT definitely wouldnt be broken af. Just imagine the absolute wall of Spikes, Lmurs and JAGMs that would be sent down range. Good luck in your Type 03, the actual worst top tier spaa.

no DL on A-7 walleyes?

Not a huge fan personally, way too slow and LANA FLIR is just amazing

And how would you do that exactly when you need to have a direct lock on a ground unit before launch

I mean, isn’t that what’s already happening with LMURs, JAGMs and whatever the Chinese ones are called? Lol

Launch at a UAV lol

Spikes have lost the ability to target UAVs around half a year ago

Oh in a way yes, But you need to pop up from behind cover long enough to find a target, get a good lock, then its happy sending. While you look for targets and lock stuff, deal with radar pings from spaa and planes you can get shot at too.

Imagine you could just sit on the helipad behind a hill and fire from behind cover towards the battlefield…without moving back to rearm (which is already hilariously quick with ace crew)…and find targets while you sit there and reload…Byebye ground gaming lol. In the time you fired all 16 JAGMs or 8/16 SPIKES you would already have reloaded. You could just send an endless line of Spikes (not sure if JAGMs have Man in the loop ability) until everything on the ground battlefield is DED

Use your imagination (no offense)

No

this would be the perfect moment to add the TV guided Hs-293… at least i think it would kinda fit in there. i know its not able to “acquire” a target but its also just a Hs-293 so its probably only gonna be on like 1 vehicle (the Battle pass He-177) so its not some game breaking weapon (like the regular Hs-293 was)
