Dear Gaijin Developers,
My name is Wabixee, and I have been a dedicated War Thunder player since 2021. I have spent over 2000 hours on PS4 and PS5, investing not only my time but also a significant amount of money—over 60,000 HUF—into the game.
I was extremely disappointed to discover that transferring my account from PS5 to Xbox is currently not possible. After selling my PS5 and preparing to continue playing on Xbox, I realized that all of my progress, vehicles, and purchases are inaccessible on the new platform. I understand this may be partly my responsibility, but I strongly believe that cross-platform account transfer should be a standard feature, especially for a game where players invest years of time and money.
I see countless players on YouTube, Reddit, and X leaving the game for the same reason—losing years of progress because the account cannot be transferred between platforms. This is not just a personal issue, it is a community problem.
Even if a solution is not immediately available, I urge you to prioritize investigating and implementing this feature for the future. The War Thunder community deserves this option. Many games, including major titles, have solved this problem; I believe War Thunder should follow suit.
Please take this matter seriously and escalate it to the appropriate management. I hope you can provide a solution or at least begin the process to make cross-platform progress transfer possible. I would very much like to continue enjoying War Thunder without losing my long-term progress.
