If changed, maybe ASTER and CAMM.
Did they change the fuse not being active below 50m?
eh, iirc Smin said there’s no plans to change the current multi pathing heights. So unless they fix helicopter rotors we’re boned
?
Last i checked the proxy fuse on the BUK M3 had a activation height of like 50 meters iirc
Oh
Just the Pantsir then lmao
we’re back to Pantsir Maxxing ig lmao
@Smin1080p_WT
since it appears that Firesnake is being added to the Z-10ME, being a 90mm HEAT laser guided rocket,
can NATO also expect to see laser guided APKWS with HEAT warheads and optional stronger rocket motor?
PS: i hope ur back from vaca and im not bothering
M55 dov bleg
fixing :
- IIR missiles to be more resilient to IRCM and making IRCM able to “aim” at one missile at a time would be a start
- Radar missiles to actually see helicopters and drop multipath height
Is starting to be more and more necessary it seems
It has been evaluated as has Brimstone for Ah-64E deployment.
JAGM is designed to be used from rotary wing aircraft.
The UK, Austrialia and Netherlands should also have the Ah-64E and the JAGM
yeah doubt gaijin will copy paste the AH-64E into the british tech tree gotta wait till next patch i imagine and unless gaijin plan to do a SA Gripen ours would only have JAGM not JAGM-MR so wouldnt have an ir seeker
Yes not this update we have have Hornets and a SAM systems.
Is the JAGM seeker modes not contained in the same seeker, like Brimstone, or do they have separate versions?
from what i know (could be wrong) the normal JAGM we have only has MMV and SAL the tri-mode seeker wasnt added until later versions like the MR
Still strange to me the US sees the need for an IR seeker variant?
They’re referring to JAGM-MR, which iirc has only had test fires from ground launchers.
There’s two versions of JAGM:
Standard JAGM with a dual mode MMW/SAL seeker like Brimstone, paired with an 8km motor.
JAGM-MR with a trimode MMW/NIR/SAL seeker, paired with a 16km motor.
According to LM the NIR is mostly there for countermeasure resistance.
“Additionally, JAGM-MR incorporates a near infrared (NIR) sensor into the multi-mode seeker providing further operational enhancements and compounding adversary countermeasures challenges.” from: https://www.lockheedmartin.com/content/dam/lockheed-martin/mfc/pc/jagm/20-12163_TSM_AGMS_JAGM-MR_Product%20Card.pdf
Why no proxy 203mm still?
Snail said no IG
Reports were accepted, and not yet denied, so who knows, maybe in 10 years we will get it down to 30m :P
Honestly I think it’s pointless to put a AH64E in the British tree without F+F ordnance. It’s just another 400k RP to get a helicopter that offers very little gameplay difference to the AH Mk.1.
Which I why I suspect it isn’t coming.
Guess Ill go around and pet all the Snails in my garden, hopefully they’ll psychically influence Gaijin into making all SPAA good.
