They don’t work in head-on if enemy use at least few flares.
And? Reload is 9 second and even if you get only 2 kills from first 4 LMUR you are already show better result than average because helicopters stat is bad.

you gotta launch it at 4km, it drops down and then the rocket kicks in, so it needs time to get to speed and lose its smoke trail

most of the missiles there are supposed to be smokeless. 9X, CAMM, Roland, VT1, ADATS, SLM, P5, Rapier, Starstreak are all supposed to be.
