Nothing for US air?!
Ammo is always a balancing decision
Do they even need something this update?
absolutely not
Now this is cool
I frankly don’t care about nuke carriers getting teamkilled because I think nukes are a terrible mechanic. I care about teamkilling in general though and accidents can happen. We have the apology mechanic for a reason.
Yes, punish the people that TK with intent more harshly, but the way it is being described means that literally any hit against the nuke carrier will result in a kick and its not even in case the carrier actually dies, it’s instant.
I’ve seen enough cases of accidental teamkills in which the “killer” got awarded a teamkill due to ricochets, stray bomb/HE fragments or allies flying into the line of fire to know that there needs to be more of a threshold than just “any damage”.
I could understand if you said “SAM radar lock/AAM radar lock fails and goes for nuke carrier while shooting at enemy going towards them.”
But I struggle to understand how you could accidentally hit something with MG or cannon fire unless you’re like, shooting at it directly.
Even at ~500 meters, a lot of guns experience fairly significant bullet drop that needs compensation for (or using vertical targetting if aircraft). By the time a stray shot would even fly towards a nuke carrier, it will have dropped to the ground or simply got deleted (bullets above a certain distance just existn’t).
In air to air gunfights, most TKs I accidentally get or get got by tend to be due to greeding (something you shouldn’t do) or bad IFF (not an issue in ARB/GRB).
You don’t even get disconnected, and for this to really have an impact, you would have to constantly “accidentaly” kill Nuke Planes.
THIS IS AMAZING NEWS.
This seems interesting.
This is a good feature.
Overall, I don’t see anything I dislike.
I mean, that is a scenario too, just one that didn’t even come to mind.
I know it is a rare occurence, but it is something that I’ve seen happen, be it in videos or during my own gameplay.
It says in the description of the mechanic that any damage being dealt would award enough penalty points to disconnect the person that dealt the damage.
Outstanding that HUD’s get some well needed love! = )
@Stona_WT But wouldn’t it be high time, nay, the Highest of Times, to make them work correctly? We still have not a single HUD with correctly working Flight Path Marker…
huh? just don’t shoot at your teammate’s nuke then?
Why not copy paste Arhangelsk into the UK TT?
Z4 Zerstörer (Premium)
Awesome! I was worried we may never see the Z 1-class destroyers! Z 4 being a premium makes it even more likely we might get Z 1 or Z 3 in the tree in the future!
This is looking to be a wonderful patch for ships!
Tickets for ground vehicles are deducted from the team only if the vehicle is destroyed by a player. If the ground vehicle is destroyed by bots, victory points are not deducted.
AI attackers (that appear 4 minutes into the session) now prefer to attack tanks (leaving easier targets for players) rather than attacking everything indiscriminately as before.
The death of an AI attacker now takes away victory points only if it was destroyed by a player. Death by anti-aircraft guns, crashing into the ground or being shot down by a bot does not affect victory points anymore.
Wow, those are some fantastic Air RB changes!
The color of the rangefinder progress bar can now be changed.
If we could get colour customization for any part of the Naval HUD at all, that’d be great.
What a statement. You actually prove the point of having this mechanic added.
You care or you don’t care? Pick one.
Again, since you aren’t actually aware of the ongoing issue, there has been no circumstance where a teammate has shot me was accidental.
Once again, almost every single situation the nuke has been tk’d was not accidental. It is an issue. If a teammate didn’t take care of the enemy that is now too close to me, they are already too late, just let me die.
I clicked those links hoping to see some pics or specs of those ships and got hit by anime, bruh
well
gaijin added MAP to POI
but when POI to MAP?
like indication of POI on MAP
In air rb you can have a premium retard ram into you and be charged with teamkilling him instead of the other way around. The chances of that happening with a nuke carrier are almost zero but still
Ramming is now a concern with this, yes, but it removes people being able to shoot you with impunity. This would be only a problem with the 6.7-7.7 nuke carriers, the others would be way too hard to do that to.
