Major Update "Spearhead" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Copy-paste peak. Now China have leopard …

I hope this is false. The community was very clear how they feel about Singapore in China.

Also, this recent change in strategy from ever so slightly neglecting China (but not more than other non-big-3 nations) to now throwing a bunch of foreign stuff at them is too much IMO.

if that leak is true

did gaijin forget already what their promise for singaporean vehicle and what happened last month when they mentioned singapore for china?

I mean… let’s be serious here… it’s either Germany or Israel as primaries.
Germany already has multiple 2A4s.
Japan’s off limits.
Israel makes better sense for this one than China.
China honestly makes sense if Gaijin forgot about others… Though I still disagree with their intent if it’s true…
Maybe if Poland was a tech tree already… I would prefer that as well.
If it was A-4SU, or 2SG obviously they shouldn’t go to China. And maybe someone could convince me that I’m wrong about 2SG going to Germany.

No, this vehicle isn’t a promise break. It’s just weird that it’s the first Singapore vehicle if it’s true.
And I do personally disagree with it.

Edit is in blue.

Isn’t this an older leak at this point?

That is a much older leak and came long before the CM announcements

yep

That’s a a relief

You know what else would make sense? If you stopped talking entirely. Your takes are atrocious.

I disagreed with it…
I’ll amend the post to make the disagreement more explicit.

@Imperator-Faber
Dude, Aqua and I have identical opinions on Singapore never going to China.

The user name and profile picture are wrong so it’s not a leak from this update or the previous one.

Why bait in bad faith with a year old screenshot?

Not “now”.

This is a year old leak. The leakers unintentionally gave Gaijin a “trial run” in community reactions, which were quite negative. Then instead of learning from it, they tried again this September, to even larger negative feedback. Who could’ve possibly seen it coming…

Nowhere is also an option people are forgetting. The western mind seems to have a hard time wrapping around the fact Southeast Asia can be similar to the Balkans, with lots of bad blood between different nations, whose citizens would rather not see their vehicles than it being added to a hated nation.

They should actually do those kinds of leaks on purpose, not to would be a huge missed opportunity. I was actually under the impression that they did

Yes, which is the thought I had just before I was reminded Israel exists as well.
I made a few typing errors and misrepresented my thoughts. My bad.

The funny part is that the leakers have clearly been doing an impromptu community reaction for a good while now, and I’m not saying Gaijin should condone leaks since it ruins some of the fun and removes the element of surprise, but don’t you think that there seems to be a reason for them doing so?

Leaks are powerful tools that have empowered us, and I am glad that they still exist.

If Gaijin gets one lesson from leaks, any at all, it’s that leaks are a great way to get player feedback without having to waste time on announcing something and far more explosive feedback occurring.

Opposing Singapore to China happened so soon in their plans that it made the feedback more potent, and that’s what I appreciated about that backlash especially.
