Idk i feel Gripen E would be pretty much meh, add it now without its main ability and it would be pretty mid, its just the problem with Powercreep maybe if it had been here 10 months ago it might be useful but currently i cant see it.
Would be more Smart to go NG so that Sweden has a current EFT equivalent thats more lightweight and then that bridges the gap for next gen weapons. Gaijin could also folder an NG under the other NG and give it the changed wing design or the Removed IRST on the Nose so that they can have ome at 14.3 one at whatever BR next gen IR missiles are at and then with ECM we can get the Gripen E. Slightly heavier but allowing it to finally utilize its main feature.
That is if it doesn’t get affected by the laser guidance bug the laser bombs have been having for months now.
I can see it now, fire the missile with a clear laser lock, and then watch the missile wander off like a lazy eye.

I cant see it being a Gripen as that feels like something you’d show in a trailer but given the Gripens in trailers yeah i could see the E or NG being excluded from a trailer or just shown as a burning wreck lol. More likely December for something big, its probably just some rushed tank or the Otis lmao

include israel on that too because oh boy the battlehawk in 13.0 its just insane, no LDIRCM and the Spikes are horrendously awful i dont know what gaijin was thinking when uptiered every heli with Spikes ER like if they were on pair with the rest.

Not a developer so I might be totally wrong, however this could maybe be a thing that’s so simple to add that it becomes less of a priority. A “We know we could finish this in like a couple hours tops, so we’re saving it for last” kind of deal.
