Major Update "Spearhead" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Probably going to be foldered with the other F-14’s since Gaijin said that each rank will be limited to 3 vehicles per line.

Also 14.0 for it will kill it immediately. 13.7 should be the max for it (barring full top tier decompression).

i think they better let it be between those two and the f-18. when someone got all f-14s. then fold them all.

No idea, we know that they want to get everyone an ESA radar of some kind, but options for Germany and Israel are kinda limited iirc

Clearly the UK is gonna get an Indian rafale as their ESA vehicle

If we’re looking at aircraft only, then there is one other reason, Greece can really help give Israel a Rank I-II for Air. Singapores lowest potential BR aircraft is the Hunter, and I forget but maybe the T-33A as well.

Here’s a theoretical of how it could look, this is something Turkey, Chile, Singapore, or really any other of the popular subtree options could not have provided for Israel (I need to update it a bit, and sadly the Greek vehicle tiles can’t be interacted with, but :

There’s also the fact it’s a easy to add nation, vast majority of vehicles are copy pasted vehicles models with the only differences being armament options (exception for some modernized Leopards and that one IFV).

Also it has Leopard, and clearly the solution to top tier balancing is to give every nation a leopard 2

Edit: Oh and keep in mind I’m not saying everything in there should go to Israel, I’m just saying it could go to Israel. It will all be up to gaijin to decide where each vehicle goes based on links it has.

Also HMD Su-25 with R-73 (and possibly Python 3?) go brrrr

This is just Hungarian Subtree 2.0, instead of Warsaw Pact slop it’s NATO slop

Israel already has the severe issue of being accused with being a “Oops, all Copy n Paste” TT. The last thing we need is a subtree that’s mostly Copy n Paste slop on top of that. The last thing Israel needs is another 15 F-16 & M48 variants that are functionally identical to their Israeli counterparts. Their armaments may be different but that’s going from at least having Israeli built secondary ordinances to being literally Identical to what you see in the US, ITA, FRA/BE or CH TT’s. Israel still has plenty of more vehicles from those two model families alone that can be added that they operate which includes further domestic modifications.

Like it or not Chile and Singapore at least gives Israel Variety which is desperately needed in their TT. That’s not including Argentina, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Ecuador, El-Salvador and/or Honduras. The only real reason why Gaijin is not adding these instead is because it requires actual effort to add.

Singapores lowest potential BR aircraft is the Hunter

Flat out not true. Singapore’s actual lowest BR aircraft would either be the SIAI S.211 or the Strikemaster Mk.84 (both around BR 6.3) and before you ask, yes Singaporean Strikemasters can use secondary armaments

I do agree that Turkey cannot be a subtree (Israel or otherwise) but that’s mostly because their Ground TT is so extensive that it can be a proper TT within it’s own right, not discounting the fact Turkish-Israeli relationship really fell off recently

Really hope we get the ability to display 3 tabs instead of the single one we can, it would be a lot more clean as we have so much empty space on the profile cards

We can blame gaijin for that one lol, tons of heavily modified and modernized vehicles they can add but it’s always the copy paste ones, sadge…

Unlike the one ingame it notably lacks internal guns, but yes it is the true lowest possible addition, I had forgotten about it thanks for the reminder.

Unarmed trainer iirc. It should be able to carry dumb bombs and rockets at the least, but they likely used inert ones for training purposes. I don’t believe I’ve seen it with even those however.

But my point was that none of these vehicles solve the issue I described earlier, which is that Israel can’t receive a fully fleshed out Rank I-II on its own without vehicles from other nations (I mean it could hav town, it would be tiny and just suck however). Luckily it’s not the same for ground, which has the potential to be a really unique tree on its own if gaijin would actually add more unique vehicles for once, with a fully fleshed out Rank I-III.

Totally, it has a really diverse ground tree with a lot of potential. Unfortunately its air tree holds it back even more than Israel’s does. Perhaps it could be in a combined tree of some kind in the future, now that I’d like to see. And yeah with current relations, turkey really shouldn’t go to Israel lol.

Indeed, they could contain unique vehicles that wouldn’t be copy paste if added, and they would add vehicles with different experiences from any other ones currently ingame for the most part. However Greece helps Israel more in the long run. It fills gaps in BRs, it provides lineups, and it gives Israel the ability to have a Rank I-II for air most importantly (which if you couldn’t tell already is my big selling point).

Greece doesn’t need to come to the game in all honesty, same for Hungary I totally agree, as it brings nothing new that couldn’t be otherwise added to the game (aside from that one IFV and its modernized Leopards). It’s just a bunch of copy pasted helis, planes, and tanks. However it was chosen and it seems they’re sticking by it for now, but what I want to focus on is how it won’t be all bad for helping the Israeli tree in areas in needs it, it just won’t be unique or really noteworthy in the slightest.
At the very least it doesn’t mean the other nations vehicles are barred, as Chile could find itself with LATAM, and Singaporean vehicle are confirmed to be coming across multiple nations in the future. Subtree solve issues with main trees that can’t be solved by their own vehicles, and I think Greece does a pretty good job of that for Israel, that’s pretty much my point in a nutshell.

The only greek vehicles i care about are their wierd domestic ifv/light tank things and the upgraded phantom. But knowing gaijin we will get none of those and instead gaijin will add a leopard 1 and 2 and a T-80U.

Turkey is also something that would be nice to see bit like greece gaijin is likely to prioritize stuff that already exists in game just with a different camo.

Blame israel for being lame in the aircraft they operate kek

Literally just an F-4F ICE that can’t get IRIS-T, has LITENING, triple rack AGM-65s, and some have that weird canopy design. It’s nothing special really

Coming Soon

That’s because the F-4E AUF is largely upgraded by DASA, a German firm. Also the AUF unlike the F does have radar Missiles
