Maybe? If there is i haven’t seen it, we know how much bigger it is as they have the size listed online so one could technically use math to correctly scale up the gripen from the C model

In all seriousness, the Q&A video is one of the last things to speculate about for this update cycle.
Last year’s Q&A was included as part of Community Manager post #4, posted on December 5, several weeks after the release of Firebirds (major update 4), but before the release of Storm Warning (major update 5).
We know that news on submarines will be part of the Q&A this year due to the Russian dev stream for Spearhead.
Previously, BVVD said that news on submarines would come before the fourth major update (though he seemed somewhat uncertain about that when he said it), but that looks like it has been pushed back. In regards to the timing of submarine news and the Q&A, Smin said something along the lines of “lots has happened since then.”
I think we can narrow down three time frames for the Q&A:
- Sometime this next week, before the release of Spearhead, following BVVD’s claim that news on submarines would come before the fourth major update. This seems like the least likely option.
- Soon after the release of Spearhead, within one week or so. This would be possible if the Q&A really was meant to come out soon but was delayed, and Spearhead is taking priority.
- Around the same time as the 2024 Q&A was released, in early December. This is the most conservative guess and probably the most likely. A Q&A video requires more preparation and editing than a forum post, so Gaijin will probably use as much time as they can to put it together.
Edit: I should note, I’m not just hyped for the Q&A because I am WT submarines’ strongest soldier, as last year’s Q&A was essential for me putting together my rumor round-up post which I still update to this day

I guess we are getting videos on tanks not in game yet
I have a lot of issues with this, the fact it has substantially less pen then a round from 2 decades earlier just doesn’t make sense not when every stat I have seen for the weapon shows it should be higher

Ground desperately needs something new to shake things up. I would like to see more attention given to like the 40’s-70’s area, wheeled vehicles and more gimmicks to play around with. Crazy how we still don’t have any armed cars like a UAZ, Tigr, HMMWV’s, Jeeps, stuff like that. More gun trucks would be cool.

A side thought I had as well. Recently I have been playing around with planes, and realized that the US doesn’t have a single plane at 6.7 to go with the 6.7 lineup, which I feel like the US is known for. Strange.
Funnily enough, there’s like a roblox tank game where they do their own calculations for rounds and the russian 57mm apfsds round is a bit less than 200mm if i remember correctly

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Cursed tank simulator is better than war thunder in just about every way except for graphics and player count. HESH actually does what it is supposed to do, fuel tanks on Russian vehicles don’t eat entire rounds, no fear of missing out events, no unique things locked behind pay wall. Crazy how CTS doesn’t have any problem with vertical and horizontal UI, but war thunder on the other hand….

It’s crazy because there are people who would be passionate towards the game on behalf of Gaijin, if Gaijin would just let them make models for the game. Let the community help make the copy paste/minor upgrades, use the money you milked from the players for producing actually unique things. Simple concept no?
