But just gonna go straight to 2a8. Cause gajon logic there wasnt armor upgrades in 30 years either way. What realy does the 2a8 different then the 2a7V besides APS. Engine upgrades etc is to counter the thropy weight.
2a8 is the lazy solution. Germany, france, sweden

Yeah the major updates this year have all been arriving ~1-2 weeks later than their corresponding major updates from previous years. It looks like Spearhead will probably drop in mid November like Firebirds did, which means there will only be a week or two before the dev season of the next update starts.
That’s fine by me though, it’s always an exciting time of the year to be a War Thunder fan.

No, the 2002 has a different engine. Different turret, add on ceramic armor. A built in softkill system and a new suite of additional sensors. The chassis is completely different inside same with the turret. The problem is they gave it the 35t weight despite not having the new systems remote tun, or armor.
Its like calling a Leo 2A8 a 2A6 because they look similar or a M1A1 a M1A2
This is the 1998 model, the 2002 has the same chassis but different turret
I could be wrong on the 98, model im less familiar with it

The Leopard 2A-RC 3.0 is really fancy (even though it’s just a demonstrator) :D
Unmanned turret, Trophy APS, 120/130/140 mm gun with autoloader (three shots in ten seconds rate of fire), Anti-Tank missile launcher, 30 mm remote controlled rooftop gun (maybe even slaveable to the APS radar for automated air defense?), ERA tiles armor, 10 tons lighter than the A8.

More SPAA is always welcome but if it is an air focused update i will be very disappointed.
Ah yes another paper Russian tank, because the real tanks they have are terrible…But watch as Gaijin make it superior to a 2A8 and M1A2 SEP V3.
