Major Update "Seek & Destroy" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 4)

I mean snip the other bits out, they were under a damned Arms Embargo. The only thing that South Africa has is a) modified centurions = British? and b) it is a dominion nonetheless.

Though I’ll quietly admit I did like the Rooikat Mk.1 at 8.3

I hate how angular and boxy it looks

In my opinion, F-4B gap filling between F-8E Crusader & F-4J. F-4N in folder with F-4B but before F-4J

F-4J move to rank 8 before F-14A Early & change BR at 11.7 with buff AIM-7F Sparrow increase lock range to 55km

F-4S Late in folder with F-4J at 12.0 BR. F-4E (1984) from ANG should be 11.7 or 12.0 BR in rank 8 and located before 2 F-15 Eagle

and then our other sub tree is a melting pot of British, Russian and French gear (at least for air) and then for ground doesn’t even have a tank that would be classed higher then 10.3., honestly feels gaijin picked the worst 2 options for our sub trees honestly

It’s also the worst choice out of the 4 post-WW2 as the other three dominions are far closer. (they also used cents) plus it’s not like the others don’t also still use British stuff to this day.

unless this isn't a British vehicle.

I was very sad when they didn’t have Australia, NZ and Canada as subtrees for UK instead of India.

@StormRyder13 @Smugspite don’t get me wrong I’d have much preferred another Subtree, but I do think South Africa (in Ground at least) was a good pick. For Air it is quite frankly terrible because it adds nothing particularly new (unless you call the arms embargo era bodge jobs such as the Cheetah “new”) whereas something like Canada raises the question of the Canuck, or the Arrow

honestly same I dont get why, like why do we need india, if we need a second tree could we at least get one with competitive equipment? or hell just equipment from the west, so we can at least say the tree is still only western

Good, we agree! Korean subtree for Japan any patch now, yes? After all Japan owned Korea during the war. Same with Taiwan, and was closer allies with Manchukuo than Thailand. Taiwan and Japan are even friendly right now iirc compared to, y’know, the other China.

Agreed, mixing NATO equipment and ‘neutral/Russian’ equipment is suboptimal.

for ground I can see SA as a good choice but I still would rather have Canada because honestly I dont think SA really helps that much most of the tanks are at BRs where the UK already have a lot of tanks maybe 6.7? we lacked there a bit after our old 6.7s went up. Canada would help bring some competitive ness to top tier as right now I would argue the only “meta” tank we have is the 2E and maybe the 3TD

I hope it gets AiM-9Li to replace AiM-9L and AiM-9Li-1 to replace current AiM-9Li

at that point they should give things like the Tornado F3 Late stock 9Ms or at the very least stock Skyflashes because right now you have to play a tornado with I think 60 flairs and 2 9Ls vs F15Cs Gripens and Su27SMs

mmmm yes very fun.

Also it’s 32 CMs lmao.

The spall liners were covered by the composite screen on later variants, they are visible in a test drive and i think it works. Just placed in the wrong spot.

ah yeah thought it was less so even worse lmao

My condolences to you. Gajin resolved indian ground vehicle abd aviation for great britain

Thank you. I was aware and very saddened when India was announced for UK. We’ll see where GJN brings us in the future.

Heh, you better wait for an announcement on that matter

How can you tell? They might have been cooking the Hornet for a while now and nearing completion for all we know.
