It makes no sense, otherwise germany shouldnt have its mig 29 as it was made in russia, nor its f4f phantom as it was made in america, nor its mig 21… so on and so forth.

not really if a vic is operated by country in game then yeah it should go to that country, its why even tho a germany company built the KF41 germany hasn’t adopted it but a nation in game has hungry
Its a competition for the next US IFV, the US KF41 variant is named XM30 (KF41), its a situation if US declined the rheimetall KF41 and decided for a different one it could go to germany
maybe? I mean if its a variant built for america specifically then I would argue it should go to america not germany, but thats just me
its a grey area, could go to both either still as a US prototype or as a german KF41 variant

I mean the leo 2av was meant for america but is in the german tech tree… No matter what we say, gaijin will be gaijin and put it in the tree that will either make them the most money, or that they prefer.
It was built in south africa by south africa, in the documents the only german contribution was the engine. So it doesnt even fall under the logic, a germany company made it so it must go to germany.
Even if we cant get that varient anymore, i would still like to the see the class 3p variant with the oliphant mk 2 turret on it.

At the time i dont think the documents showing it was made in SA were known about, or found, so it makes sense. And the fact that its an event vehicle stops them from moving it to the british tree. However, it shouldn’t be used as an example of where these kinds of vehicles should go due to the mistake that was made.
think the problem is that the CV90 family is being advertised out from sweden
Compared to that the Rheinmetall family advertises their stuff out of their home country of germany and does produce their whole prototypes and vehicles in germany

it wouldn’t matter if gaijin used the whole “well it was built by X company” argument then the UK should receive CV90s they are built by BAE a British company

again I’m pretty sure Smin has said if the event ran when SA was in the game as a sub tree of the UK it would have gone to SA as it was designed and primarily built by SA

Ah, following these we would have only 1 nation in Top-Tier except East block because well, They should all go to the German tree because they use a licenz build L/44… from Rheinmetall a German Company…
