Yea, at this point F-2 late would be the only upgrade to the F-15J (M) as it would have AESA and L-JDAMs. Maybe even AAM-5 if they go that far.
On the bright side, one aircraft down, one more to go (aside ASEAN sub-tree aircraft).
not every addition needs to be an upgrade, look at the f-15a addition, certainly worse then the F-16C US already had
It’s more that the F-2 early only used AIM-7Ms which in a meta of ARH missiles, just seems unlikely.
Which leaves the F-2 late, which we already have AAM-4s, but it also means Japan gets their own CAS with L-JDAMs + Sniper pod.

I’d really prefer Dunkerque over any of those. Not only does France need a 7.0 a lot more, but Dunkerque could also end up being the 2nd or 3rd best ship in the game
I am morally obligated to choose Dunkerque over the others as the French need a top tier the most seeing as they don’t have a top tier.
Not sure how much Dunkerque’s angling will save her as the belt is thin regardless. Strasbourg would be the optimal choice.
Aside from her I want QE and R, is it selfish to want Britain to have 2 at a time? Yes, do we historically deserve it? Also yes.
Not to mention that last time a 7.0 ship that is on the TT for Britain was the Hood. She was introduced two years ago, in danger zone.

As an aside, Richelieu will absolutely dominate if not added too late. 15-inch guns with a decent reload + 330mm inclined belt with a 50mm slope behind it. Plus we can get her 2 sisters who are slightly better? chefs kiss They’ll be magnificent.

Richelieu will probably fare better against aircraft then H-39 I would think. If she has her post war anti aircraft weaponry that is. Which would be a nice thing.
I think the order is meant to be reversed - H39 comes first, then Richielieu. Two patches later, Britain finally got their battleship the Nelson.
Also max BR in naval is still 7.0.
I might be the only Brit main that actually kinda doesnt want Nelson at the moment. Dont get me wrong. Would be fun and enjoy it when added. But after so long dealing with the 15 inch nerfs. I kinda want the KGV for the 14 inch guns and thus the ability to actually hit a target :D
