True, but I haven’t flown a Phantom in a while especially the F-4F so its sounds like fun to mess around with again & play against fighters I would never expect to face off against.
It’s going to be a pretty funny unique kind of suffering we get to do imo.
If it gets AIM-9Li’s, I can see it being a decent support fighter, similar to how you’d play the Tornado F.3, taking longer range shots with the radar missiles and using the IR missiles for self defence and unsuspecting enemies.
Not the only aircraft. I can see a lot of people having a long few weeks stock grinding a few different aircraft this update. The most painful is probably gunna be the F3 with no A2G at all. At least things like the SHAR and ICE can always dump some bombs onto ground targets.
The problem, however, is that both new British aircraft can get AIM-9Ms, whereas the F-4F ICE is stuck with Ls.
Unless they get fixed/changed. AMRAAM + Radar off-boresighting is proving to be quite deadly at close range. I’ve gotten more than a few kills against “better” aircraft doing that in both F3 and FA2
Assuming that doesnt get fixed. Yes… Though you do also get AMRAAM a rank before everyone else. But F3 and FA2 and a few others are basically reliant upon BVRs. Good proposal in at the moment for the F3 to get Skyflash DFs stock
I was more referring to the base F.3, however that is very interesting.

Yeah it needs better sidewinders & I think it will be alright. I think they will do something.

The xray model still shows the AN/APQ-120. Hope they catch that & update it.
Probably also about time they model wing tanks for the F4s (all of them) but the smaller internal fuel load for the ICE could cause it some issues

But also if the Tornado Gr1 gets any TLC (which is unlikely now, but still hoping) then Im gunna be in it as well quite a bit. Maybe even skip 1 or 2 of the aircraft have nearly spaded in favour of just playing the Gr1 (which i talismanned in the sale) instead
DnD/BG3. Shar is the Goddess of darkness in them.

Fair enough. Late act two is where things really pick up, and the amount of content in act 3 is close in amount to both act one and two combined.
