I was saying that because F-14B will face those new ARH jets more than F-14A. AIM-54 is no match for them in game.
Only part about that plane that irk me still to this day is those DAMN 530 Fs

Wrong. You are completely wrong about the Aim-54.
The Aim-54A in Iranian service has more kills against fighters than any R-77 ever produced too.
This was done with a cut down exported version of the AWG-9.
Iran had no sidewinders & no sparrows for the Tomcat the first half of the War. They only had the Aim-54A.
This is an accomplishment & kill record not a single Soviet/Russian aircraft & missile has ever done.

that is a very easily misunderstood number because youd need to know what exactly it fought compared to the r27s
Spend 9+ hours in hospital emergency yesteday (all good end of the day but lot of stress) have to read/see everything right now, miss a lot of things still.
Vextra looks good, now apparently there is a need of lot of reports on it (Wrong gun, no thermals, too heavy, wrong turret rotation, no laser rangefinder) but i’m really happy to see it, and REALLY happy it’s not a premium.
Camo net in TT vehicle is really cool things too, hope a lot of vehicles on every country gonna have access to that soon.

Yes, Its documented. Fighters, bombers etc. in the Iran-Iraq war. There is not even a Flanker Ace in the world. There is multiple Tomcat Aces :)
Additionally, it’s also documented how poor the R-27 series is used by Su27 against Mig29s in the Ethiopian Eritrean war 1998 (flown by Russian pilots too).
Out of 97 missiles fired of both R-27 & R-27ERs the entire war only 4 were able to strike their targets. This is a worst efficiency to the Aim-4 Falcon of Vietnam.
The CCP did a study & reported that by the way. Nothing is misunderstood about these weapon systems.
