Yep! That’s what I read; it’s worse for dogfighting, but better for BVR. I didn’t know it was THAT good at it, though!

Not like having 50G of maneuverability on a missile is useful if your target is far away anyway
The Su-27 is an AoA fighter while the MiG-29 is a rate fighter, Flanker will clap if they fight is 2-3 turns or less.
Yep! As far as I know, Su-27’s flight performance is realistic. Kinda like F-22: they can pull inhuman turns, but this results in loss of speed if not managed correctly.

It’s supposed to be better than the 40mm, at least IRL due to not being constrained by clip loading. Ammunition performance is also similar, supposedly.

Engine is the same as the basic one now. Just more fuel efficient. And it’s 100kg heavier that the 9-12A.

Su-27 either wins in 1 circle or falls out of the sky, it’s not at all fun dogfighting with it. Just can’t retain or regain energy.
4 pylons for r-73 only, 2 pylons for r-73, r-27et or r-27er and 4 pylons for r-27er only. R-27 has to be unlocked before R-27E as you can imagine.
i thought the su 30 is the tandem configuration of the su 27 for ground attack? or is that something else.

Yeah same. I LOVE the 40mm Strf’s but man, the 35DK/NL MLU are going to rock. The APDS has about 140mm~ penetration, that is about the same as 40mm m/90. Also, there apparently is some kind of a SAP shell for it. Honestly it is nice to see.
