Major Update "Ninth Wave" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

From the datamines

Hornets are getting AGM-84H. (Atleast in the dev server which is closed already.)

US might no longer be the worst nation in CAS and finally a reason to take hornets for CAS instead of F-16 :D

Might even be able to use the 84 outside panstir range lol no reason to ever come close to the cap points again!

I’m sure the pantsir will appreciate the free “munition intercepted”.

It’s the thought that counts lol

Watch this,

@Smin1080p_WT any plans for the return of Grom-1? Since we’re in the realm of air-launched cruise missiles now… the OG is bound to make a comeback… no?

We still don’t have any Grom-1 equivalents in other countries (cruise bombs with engines). Of course, I would also like to see them return, but they have too large a warhead and a good range for now.

AGM-130, AASM HAMMER, PGM 2000…

The only metric the Grom-1 beats those in is range (due to higher launch speed) and explosive mass (not so much in the PGM 2000’s case).

Seems like I was right about the 24th deadline

And how are the Harpoons? How do they compare to KG-38s or AASMs?

Is America finally getting a worthy Maverick successor?

Was just two initially right?

They hit, hard.

Still subsonic, basically a cruise missile, but it hits hard. Definitely one taps anything.
