Well so is the J-11B, but it gets Kh-29. Giving the J-15T those missiles isn’t game breaking or unrealistic, the plane is very lacking right now.
Same thing with KD-88, it should be given to J-10C and JH-7A, possibly also J-10A and J-11B. We see none of this so far. CM704 also sitting in the files for years.

KD88 is 0.9 mach. Kh29TE is twice that speed, and I like to have options. With the KD88, SPAA has ten business days to intercept it.
Kh-29TE is only supersonic right after launch during the boost period. it goes subsonic really quickly after that.

Probably done by Gaijin to increase the grind towards the actually useful weaponry.
Nobody sane uses a Kh29 against ground targets on the Su-30SMs when they have Kh38s unlocked, maybe they get used against LDIRCM helis.
I don’t know the exact specifics, but I can get it on target faster than AGM65 and likely also KD88, I’d take all the speed I can get. I seriously don’t see why J-15T can’t have it as well.
Theres other, better A2G missiles for china in the files. they’ve been stuck there for over a year. gaijin just doesnt think china deserves competitive A2G. (Stuck with a really small amount of IR bombs on the J-15 while losing all your A2A or a bit more on the J-10C)
i do use it, less sp cost in intense situation

I know, but right now Gaijin only permits us to use Kh-29 and KD-88, so I want them on all the planes that could use them.
Maybe in a few years we’ll get the others as well.
It is pretty funny to use against helis in general i will admit (same with agm-65B)

Early J-11Bs still used Russian-compatible pylons. This is shown by the J-11Bs in-game being able to carry certain Russian weapons, like the Kh-29. The J-15T in contrast is essentially a “larger leap” away from Russian tech for the PLAAF
IR Kh38 works fine vs LDIRCM helis.
