Major Update "Ninth Wave" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

you seem smart is there any proof the kh38"MT" is a real missile

Being compatible =/= should have them

Russian doesnt have the 38mt, it should not get them

Same as germany doesnt operate spice 250. Should not get them

Game is slowly drifting into fantasy rather then be based on irl subjects.

All this noise around simple, incorrectly introduced IIR seekers that create OP ordnance while still not having MMW implemented in-game while sources clearly state that it would not be anywhere near as OP as some people state.

Is there any chance the KD88 and KD88A are given to J10C, J10A and JH7A?

And possibly Kh-29TE to J-15T?

Fully built? From what I’ve seen so far, no. But iirc it was said it qualified because the seeker was made and the fact it uses the already existing and actually used ML body or something along those lines. There is a decent amount of info about it, but I could not find a fully built missile. Closest thing would be the 2024 Zhuhai brochure from Rosboronexport. I’m fine with that reasoning but I’d like to see other nations get similar example like this with modular systems.

This is all from what I have personally found however, do remember

all i needed to hear was its not a fully built missile which makes me wonder why nato hasnt got any equal to it yet other than maybe the hammers for the rafale but mavericks suck and spices arent exactly great compared to the 38mt either

thats a bomb rack

I mean I didn’t use 250’s (or any SPICE to begin with tbh in actual matches, just testing) so this is not gonna be fully reliable, but I’ve heard rather good stuff about it, especially the 250. Most of the time it’s about the quantity and range and such.

i mean personally using them on the british eurofighter u can get an 8x target destroyed if spaa dont intercept them but there slow and very easily interceptable as there a glided bomb not a mythical russian missile

This, fast and big Missiles are nice, but these limit you in quantity while the small 250kg bombs are enough + you get more of them :)

This isn’t the AMRAAM triple rack in question.

Ive not had much of a chance to mess about with Spice-250s yet, I dont play top tier GRB and not much use using them in ARB (might dust of ASB at some point)

but the biggest issue ive found is the Mach 1 release limit. Getting a Typhoon to go below Mach 1, especially when at alt, is just a chore and a half

Also once your radar screen gets cluttered by random stuff the spice 250s can be annoying to keep track of. (And they are a pain to keep track of visually as well)

When playing top tier AA a decent CAS player with spice 250 scares me more than a decent CAS players with AGM-65s.

There are reports open for this currently, so it will depend on the outcome of those. But as long as they are open, its always possible.

agm65 are a complete joke

from what ive been seeing triple rack amraams for the f16 seems more real than the 38mt and i dont see why it shouldnt get them if its gonna stay at 14.3 as its a laughably low missile count for the br

you just have to go 0% throttle airbrake out and start doing weird maneuvers and u get it eventually

Yeah, but that is the definition of a chore and a half :D

Especially annoying when FnF Brimstone 2s wouldnt have the same issue.

This would also help too, allow you to actually use the Spice-250s at long range

Isn’t it obvious? The Russians are the only ones to have figured out >Mach 1.0 drops with (much heavier) glide bombs

If you have new information that wasn’t already reported, then please do. As we have said, if evidence of their existence beyond renders can be shown, then its possible. However, thus far, this hasn’t been shown.

But based on the current information, it appears as though they haven’t progressed past renders.
