the Aim120D as of right now is virtually the same as the C-5 aside from the GNSS which is an marginal improvement at best. As for why it is worse: less CMs, no MAWs without sacrificing Missile Pylons, doesn’t get access to Spices (in the case of the US GBU53s), the radar is slightly better on the PoBit but that really doesn’t outweigh the negatives. Also you could add the lack of CFTs although that is purely cosmetic (i like them)
German Eurofighters use them, the rest not so no idea why they have them

difference is the spice 250 is an in service weapon used on isreali f16s and are proven to be equipped on eurofighters and again ill shut up if u can find anything close to that for 38mt on a russian aircraft

I get it though. It’s either this (even in limited quantity; the Eurofighters can carry the same amount of SPICE 250 as on Gripen E but don’t because… reasons) or give Brimstones and all similar weapons MMW guidance which they won’t do for obvious reasons, so this is a stopgap measure.
i do think that excuse is going a bit too far these days

Fake weapons are bad when they have no equivalent in any other TT that has always been the issue, the KH38s were almost in a vacuum with every nation except maybe france with the hammers having absolutely no way to compete. The spices were added because of said imbalance brought upon us by the KH38, and even then it came after being added to another tree
No eft is equiped with spice.
No country operating eft has bought spice weapons.
Care to explain how that make sense to you ?
Just reminded me of the fact that SUFA now still cant carry SDB or Spice250 on its inner pylons despite the presence of evidence
