While we’re on the topic of this, can you check up on old reports?
Over a year ago now, with the introduction of Thai aircraft, my report about missing AIM-9P was passed as a suggestion. But it seems like this suggestion was ignored, because it still hasn’t gotten them despite the ROC F-5A having them at the same BR.
These are the only missiles Thailand used, so AIM-9E are out of place historically too.

You’ll probably get an answer that it’s no different from 18E and that there is no point in adding identical aircraft to US tech tree

The actual aircraft tail number is actually a late CM not PoBIT as it pre-dates PoBIT was my point. It’s kinda a Frankenstein jet now…
As long as it gets ECM/HARM when SEAD drops atp idc and we can all be happy about the jet. Genuinely will make me uber depressed if I can’t do SEAD in a Swamp Fox jet which is the main thing I’m worried about 😞
I can’t complain too much if I get a SCANG jet with a bit more capability than IRL as long as it still gets SEAD/ECM :)

It is problematic that Russian vehicles routinely come to the game correctly configured with new mechanics such as spall liners while other vehicles require us to bug report anything missing, and then subsequently wait several years for the reports to be resolved. Something’s gotta give.

The two seaters are far and away the best looking f-18s, ever since they announced the hornets I’ve been waiting for the two seaters. Such a cool skin too!
If we can get the ECM pod ARM, then this would be a unique aircraft that could attract hesitant players to purchase the American premium pack. On the other hand, if it remains as it is, it will not help improve the American air force, which has already lost its featured aircraft and lacks presence, and it may unfortunately lose a lot of potential paying players’ money.

Your logic made sense to where the CM’s had the sabr upgrade all the way back in 2022 and had half glass and modernised cockpits it was pretty spot on, my assumption is they probably always planned it to be a POBIT and just simply used a CM as a reference for the base skin on accident which is really funny.
However I do hope as well like you said that they give it SEAD or ECM, like I would prefer a foldered CM with ECM and stuff however I wouldn’t mind a slightly Frankensteined f16POBIT with it to stop me filling two crews in tt grb
