Major Update "Ninth Wave" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

What everyone else said should be more or less on point.
I want to point out that:

  • what they are adding is indeed the proto.
  • there have been several iteration of the proto
  • The proto also has a “bad” transmission, the production one should’ve a better one especially regarding the reverse
  • All in all I expect:
    Proto
    B2 Centauro 120mm
    Centauro II 105mm
and maybe a Brazilian one in the future.

The HITFACT II has also been installed on an endless amount of vehicles: TULPAR, Lynx, Ariete and so on.

Looks like it will be a squadron vehicle after all.

Yeah that make sense given it was a limited variant which failed to hit the production line

wonder what was the ground thing for sweden?

620,000 SRP. That’s even more than the Gripen D
A minimum 93 day endeavour if you want to grind it.

loadout?

@Smin1080p_WT Hello, I saw today that the statcard of the AIM-120D is being updated to show a range of 185km. Does this mean that devs have now changed from the base model to the upgraded D3 model?

Was this newly added to the CDK?

From the datamine.

pretty bad for 13.7

Yep, the squadron RP grind is worse than the actual TT grind. Rank 9 aircraft are currently 400k RP on the dev server with the reductions so it’s just about 1.5x the amount of RP for the thing. Either they reduced the costs or up the cap on SRP. It’s ridiculous.

Not the worst though. Up to 8 x R-77’s is on par for 13.7.

was gonna say 13.7 seemed a little low for a better mig29 but with only R77s eh I can see it

yeah but u also get r77 and 10 of em at 13.3 so

Yeah but this is Gaijin so premium = lower BR.

depends the radar, considering its a modernised Mig29M might have a better radar

I am this close to getting their windows down. Why every update drops squadron vehicles so much that it is impossible to grind them in two months?

Any why exactly they are NOT trying to fill the Russian first line?

Same as yak141

No way this is intended, the walls aren’t the traverse mechanism, so they shouldn’t take it out. Same logic as the others. If I had to guess they probably just haven’t finished the damage model yet.

I hope once it’s finished it can be limited to the actual turret ring and floor like the others, with the walls maybe actually working as intended and catching a bit of spall.

It also seems too big right now compared to the actual turret basket, but that might just be the perspective.

That said the way they made the autoloader 3D model has me a bit worried these are meant to be intentional nerfs rather than actually realistic changes. For example the autoloader is very different from the real one and couldn’t even function the way it’s modelled.
