The sources are good. They confirm that the Me 210 V-22 was tested with a DB 605 engine in October 1942. In January 1943, it was purchased by Japan and was already equipped with DB 601F engines. This means it had already been modified to the A-1 version (DB 601 engines), and the Germans gave it the name Me 210 A-2. So the Japanese Me 210 should have been called Me 210 A-1 W.Nr. 2102350 or Me 210 A-2 W.Nr. 2102350, not Me 210 V-22.
Day 1099 of waiting for Polish tech tree
An Italian prem destroyer and a German coastal boat.
Man I so can’t wait to make the ultimate Hungarian line up
Sad news for Japan mains.
We all know of the turret basket changes, yes?
Well contrary to what some people tend to say about it, the visual model is not the actual damage model. The traverse only gets damaged from the turret ring, and the base of the turret, and in most cases the extra bits inbetween the two don’t actually take any damage.
However.
The Type 90, Type 10, and TKX do not get this luxury. (as of now) Instead, with these mbts, they do take damage when hit in these parts.
I’m not sure if this is a bug, placeholder, or intended. But what I do know is RIP Japan TT mains.
(Side note) Im using m300 here to try to eliminate as much spall damage as possible. Without it you tend to get the turret ring taken out anyways just because sabot actually does a lot of damage.
Don’t make me tap the sign….
Huh, they changed the Abrams basket damage model finally.
The new baskets probably aren’t fully configured yet; just in case you can bug report it citing Leopard 2s and Abrams.
The abrams basket is the same as in live. I was just using it as reference
*As in the Abrams basket does not, and never did take damage in the middle
Oh, then it was changed longer ago.
Which is fair, since the last time I checked was December.
As another person with OCD, it is a blessing and a curse
Good to know that other tank are getting them as well. Though as you mentioned that hitting metal disable the turret ring in type 10 should be changed
We have pictures of the J15 cockpit but not the J15T :/, I don’t know if the MFDs have been improved or moved, but in this photo taken from the outside, we can see that the HUD has been improved, it’s bigger and rounder.
it’s possible that gaijin copied and pasted the J11B cocpit…
*I never said it should be changed, just that I didn’t know if it was intentional
(although for consistency sake it should)
PoBIT would be a decent upgrade over this jet in terms of stuff it could get later on. The main mission of the late CM we’re getting is SEAD whereas the PoBIT is mainly Air Defense/CAP/CAS.
Viper EW Suite would probably be the biggest difference alongside a few other systems and weapons not present on this jet (as well as the triple AMRAAM/Multi Mission racks if they do get ordered by the USAF which is I believe still being tested/developed)
The jet we have now was from a different program than PoBIT for the F-16CJ’s and pre-dates PoBIT. The jet we have the skin for in game was given SABR and a few other things like RWR in 2020. The SEAD squadrons all got SABR for their jets with I believe the exception of the Squadron in Japan that transitioned to the F-35.
On the other hand, the Japanese MBTs still don’t have power, electronics or FCS modules; so the larger basket is balanced by comparison as to not make the tanks feel hollow compared to those getting full modules.
Well they did screw up C-5. and the range wasnt the issue with that missile.

Funny that China has this pilot model. This is the British 1980s/1990s fast jet pilot model that has been in the files for a couple of years now, but isn’t actually used on any of the British jets in the game
It’s a little wrong because it uses the helicopter crew version of the Mk.4A flight helmet that has a boom mic where Mk.4 helmets for FJ use have a mic in the mask. But it’s otherwise a pretty nice pilot model and a shame it’s not used on the vehicles it should be used on in the British tree.
The inclusion of the rail for the central ratchet-mounted Mk.2 Aircrew Visor that was on earlier Mk1A, and Mk3A/B helmets is also odd, considering Mk.4 has the dual side-mounted visor that was introduced on the Mk.3C helmet.
Maybe it was used as an interim NVG mount, but it’s not the normal NVG mount for Mk.4 helmets
So they applied this incorrect character model to a completely unrelated jet…
Its wild to me Gaijin chose the literal one aircraft with practically 0 pictures of the cockpit to add
All we know is it has a different hud and it has the same button panel top left and triangular MFD top right as the J-16 but Gaijin will most likely just take the lazy route and C&P the J-15/11B one…
J-16 for example

Different buttons but same general layout
I would like to know your thoughts on this suggestion!
This time I am going for a simpler topic rather than an overly complicated one.
