eh doubt it the reason the 27ER was so strong is how fast it was, GNSS is cool but in game probably wont mean a whole lot
assuming it lets you fire them off in pitbull mode where you click a point on the map fire them they self guide there and start searching, it more a gimmick then anything I assume it will be nice in Sim

it depends on how accurate this new guidance is at range…and from BVVD’s description they will not be very good close in…even worse then the C5…but that’s because the are meant to be good at Range, we shall see.
GNSS + a fast ESA TWS narrow fov may be a SOB to shake off

wish the dev server opened earlier, really wanna test the eitan :(
We already have Iron Dome already, it’s called any 14.3+ jet with more than 10 missiles
Best we’ll get is if dev-client gets updated this weekend
It’s niche, but could be on occasion quite useful. Especially at long range
Hopefully also the dev-server is not at the usual time on Fridays, but is much earlier during the day on Monday.

Both F-8P and Fuji T-1 are good picks and should have come years ago

At really long BVR ranges the enemies can be far enough away that you need to have your radar set at a higher distance setting to see them at all and at that point they might also still be relatively bunched up so on the radar HUD it looks like one big blob, so it can be hard to chose targets.
In SIM it will likely also help with differentiating friendly from foe that are in a dogfight, you can see more details and if the friendly plane is the one to the left or the right on your screen.

I hope this will be the patch where they introduce the ability to opt out of playing CQB maps at top tier
I hate how all the good maps are locked to mid-high tier (5.7 - 7.7)
It is really going to help helicopters and jets with GMTI as targets are usually in very small clusters
