BVVD said that going forward, Vehicles would go to any other possible trees straightaway in the end of 2025 Dev QnA

@Smin1080p_WT Hey! Are there currently any plans to add Anti Ship Missiles for Destroyers/Cruisers within this update or year?

He was referring to in service vehicles operated by those nations. Not simply everything captured and war prizes.

There’s no plans currently for a British Me 210.

Hey. Any vehicles we have coming will be announced via blogs or official news (CM updates, streams etc). We don’t reveal here in this topic what’s coming in that way.

That’s great to hear

@Smin1080p_WT
Can you please answer this, if possible? Much appreciated

Ah okay. Sad since I want RAFwaffe still.

Test vehicles are okay though since Japan is getting one? Couldn’t it be argued that a lot of captured vehicles are ‘test vehicles’ as often the primary reason for stuff like RAFwaffe is to gleam technology and design choices from them as was the point with Germany sending Japan stuff like ME-210 and Tiger 1 in WW2?

I’m not criticising or anything, I’m just wanting some clear criteria and rules for these vehicle additions going forward.

Also, how will it work when it comes to event/battlepass vehicles moving forward?

Theres no plans for this currently. It can be done already by cycling radar modes with the correct keybinds.

Ah, pity… Thank you for an answer though

Japan purchased the vehicle. That’s not the same as capturing it and testing it simply to know how to defeat it in combat and extract enemy tech.

Captured vehicles may still appear, its not impossible. However they do not fall under what BVV was talking about with regards to all nations that had something generally being given that.

Hello! Speaking of Japan, may I ask;

Do you know whether this bug, present since 2021 and reported various times ever since, will finally be addressed this update?

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/OKu3KDR8Sx85

Currently its still open.

Thanks! Do you know if there’s anything that can be done to draw the developers’ attention to this issue?

After 5 years, it’s a bit disheartening that it still remains; and that it’s been added to all other vehicles of the family implemented ever since.

It would be a very quick and easy fix, instructions were provided in another bug that was rejected and even YouTubers have made custom missions with the fix implemented.

So just to be clear. official transfers like Japanese ME-210 are acceptable but Captures are not? Okay. That’s fine.

What I meant in regards to event/battlepass vehicles going forward is, for example, You add something like the Canadian CF-100 as a monthly event jet. Belgium also operated them so how would you go about adding it to multiple trees if it’s being added via an event?

I hope my questions are clear

Thats just a vehicle purcahsed by a nation and used in operation, the same as any other standard vehicles we have:

There is no set rule or placement on where they go. As that could be via research, squadron, premium or event.

In the same vein, could you tell us if the Exocet missile is finally getting added to aircraft?

The same answer applies. If we have something to announce, it will be done via official means (Blogs, news, changelogs etc)

I think I’m being unclear so apologies.

How would an event vehicle, that can be added to multiple trees, be added to said multiple trees at the same time?

Would you do a ‘mini’ update that adds, to the use the prior example, The Belgian CF-100 as a tech tree/squadron/GE/Pack vehicle but have the Canadian one be acquired via the event? These being at the same time

If it was added as an event vehicle, then naturally it wont be added all at the same time, as that’s impossible. In such cases, it may come to other trees later on.

Its not always possible in 100% of cases for them always to arrive dead on the same time. BVV was speaking generally about those cases when it is possible. Other factors can come in too, like them being unique domestic modifications or variants etc.
