Hey smin, can you confirm if my reading of the statcards in the dev stream are right?
Several TGP equipped aircraft in the devstream have IRSTs marked as their equipment on their new stat cards. So existing TGPs like litenings / damocles / sniper are getting IRST functionality? Or is it just a quirk of the WIP statcards.
I know, thank you for the additional information, but they don’t make it into the game for a reason, and it’s obvious why: they’re afraid of something, so they prefer to leave everything the same except for Mica, but as I said, that’s out of necessity.
I think we’ve had bug reports about the AIM-120s since the first AIM-120 dev server, probably, such as the smokeless motor, seeker improvements, among other things.
That’s literally all GNSS is in WT right now.
It’s literally just 0 drift IOG.
I’ve been saying this ever since I datamined the AIM-120D, and again since it was mentioned in the CM post.
They could of course change it in the next update.
But the point is, if the MICA can get a unique seeker that makes it a lot stronger, as can clearly be seen by how well the Mirage 2Ks with MICA and the Rafale always perform, then why not everyone else?
Either keep them all as C&Ps of each other or action bug reports for buffs.
If Gaijin is using bug reports as a balancing mechanic, then something needs to change
And yet they haven’t fixed it. Yet the same devs give r77-1 more delta v than it has irl because they’re too incompetent to add in proper drag models. really give me a lot of faith they’ll actually fix it.
MICA wasnt op before the Rafale, and having the shortest range fox3 you gotta give it atleast 1 edge over others ngl, if we still had only the M2K5F and no Rafales france wouldnt have this high of a winrate at all
Buffed seeker or not, the MICA would still perform nearly identically. The missile would still be as hard to notch due to its huge speed acceleration. It would simply be easier to chaff, which is more beneficial to say a su30 with limited chaff than a eurofighter with hundreds of BOL chaffs (even if they are very pitiful)
