If you make it be a mod of the 10.3 one, you are condemning us to not having a BMPT for Top Tier with APFSDS.
What KE damage would HESH cause?
It deforms on impact, it doesn’t penetrate armour

I mean I guess if it hits a light enough piece of armour it would probably cause it to deform before it explodes due to the shell weight and velocity
This is gonna cause HESH to overpen unarmoured trucks, isn’t it

well hesh is an impact fuse so in theory it should detonate almost instantly, if it failed to detonate it instead would shatters the armour sending chunks of steel and plastic explosive through out the vic, so honestly it should still kill trucks even if it somehow over pens lol
I honestly don’t know what they are trying to do with HESH
It behaves way too much like APHE. The fuze sensitivity they assigned to HESH is high enough to allow it to straight up penetrate through thin armour without exploding.
I’ve hit hovering helicopters with HESH and it didn’t detonate, meaning the helis took literally no damage.
The only thing I can think of right now is that the “KE damage” is going to be post-pen pre-detonation spalling or something like that
If only Gaijin knew how the “squash head” part of “High Explosive Squash Head” worked

I really hope that Australian Boxer CRV is coming. It’d finally give me an Aussie light tank to do scouting tasks with. Sometimes, the repetitive grind of doing these kinds of tasks mean I’d much rather play Australian content if I can. Do it in my “happy place”.
