Major Update "Line of Contact" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

  • Ground vehicles:
    • GBR:
      • Boxer CRV Block 2 [AUS]

If that is still being worked on, I’d be happy.

Also, the Humu, if it’s talking about the Finnish plane, is funky. Into the pile of planes that I think “look fat.”

Lots of boats. ouuu- ealyer AIM-4 varints.

Yes, I did read the disclaimer and am aware that not everything is stuff still being worked on and just stuff that got as far as ending up in the files.

Br could (and should) go up to 14.7 with AESA typhoons, both rafales, J-10C (maybe), Gripen E (Maybe) while the rest of top tier is shifted around between 14.0 and 14.3

It does lol, how else would Lancaster beat F-14?

Additionally we need to know what Gripen E model gaijin wants to add. With the extended wing or not

As weve seen Brazil now have production models with these new wings and the same with swedens fleet

Not in the gripens case but funny lancaster go brr

Hopefully the older clipped style wings, as the higher thrust + old FM would be preferable

both will be good, i know sweden player will love having 2 gripens for them after so many years

The extended wing has signifigantly more weight and worse performance, it would be a downgrade in nearly every metric

Honestly i kinda want both hopefully a prototype E model with clipped wings comes before the E in the TT to bridge the gap between next gen missiles and current missiles

Bru im gonna soil myself if the UK gets an australian Boxer before Germany gets a tech tree one lol

Idk the production E feels like it will need EW to keep it afloat until meteors arrive

Don’t worry, that Aussie Boxer is almost guaranteed to be an event vehicle as well

there are other thing that are different from each model, maybe weapons/maws/ even cas weapons.

Eh, depends if they stay unique(inb4 brazil fornitaly and japan). So far the A kinda counts but i want gaijin to give it the IR-Otis to make ir more unique and work better with its IR missile kit. It was also exclusive to the JA37D and the Gripen A

It definitely will, prototype E models would also have less weight due to Arexis not being installed.

I though that was mainly for a hybrid HMS/D system no?

Probably true but i cant say that that makes me happier tho

How come it could have a worse FM that the C tho?
If Gripen E AMK is anything like EF AMK then it should provide better ITR and AoA especially when under load.
Coupled with better TWR than C it should be a straight upgrade.

Resume

It is a HMS but also a IRST nose sensor
