So how excactly are Bouth guns then assigned to Keys?
one Gun for Primary Weapon, second one to Secondary Weapons like on the Type 60 SPRG for instance with its dual recoilles rifles?
but when i press bouth keys at the same time or have them bouth assinged to the same Key bouth guns will fire at the same time (one would shoot HEAT, the other one BESH), shouldnt the BMPT dual 30mm work the same way?
Or will we have a message pop up saying that it is not possible to use Gun 2 when Gun 1 is beeing used?
last thing i could think of that we dont have 2 indepentend guns but rather when we change the belt that we dont get a short reload like on the 35mm when going from normal belts to apds but that we “change” the gun and then the other starts shooting.
I just not see the problem why bouth cant be fired at the same time (unless its just because game balancing rather then a coding problem) since they could be handeld like the Type 60 SPRG RRs but with a crazy fast reload.
MRML are service? Afaik only outer pylons (as extra) are in use with service aircrafts and old pylon extensions were used only for demos.

I mean I agree that the US doesn’t suffer, but at the same time they do usually draw the short straw when it comes to “technically capable of carrying X”.
Since all the AH-64E now get the LDIRCMs because the US mounted them, US players asking for meteors on their F-35s because they were integrated on a US aircraft isn’t too far fetched.
Hell unless the AH-64E LDIRCM get removed again from all non-US AH-64Es, the US asking for meteors for their own F-35s because other nations use them on their F-35s isn’t already too far fetched.

I usually wouldnt agree with this but in this case I do. Its similar deal to HMD for top tier aircraft and how crucial it is for balance and survival in air battles. LDIRCM is very much needed as a standard for top tier helis but not because of US alone but because other nations such as China or USSR already have these systems.
It isnt but at the same time they would most likely get domestic equivalents so I’d say Meteor wont be needed for them.

A lot of the devblogs are written in advance, you can tell with the Ajax’s problems “being resolved” despite a big scandal a few days before being posted. The R-77s were a later addition in the dev server, so they probably didn’t plan on it originally.

Oh yeah I agree that meteors likely aren’t needed for them.
I just think it’s a bit hypocritical for some people here (not you) to talk shit about US mains asking for the meteor while they themselfs will gladly accept the LDIRCM for the AH-64E that, if they followed their own logic, they have no right receiving.
I guess it’s just the typical “rules for thee but not for me” mindset that a whole bunch of nation mains have.
