I don’t think they will do anything about it though. J-10C radar model change may be the only thing. The engine is technically realistic so won’t be fixed until like PL-15 is in game. Drag is bad but we can’t prove it unless with datamine, and we don’t have anything IRL to prove them wrong either.
True but given that the J-10C is known for having the WS-10 in it it feels quite wrong for that to not be the case tbh
Well I thought that to be the case I hadnt realized how recent the WS-10 modification was made
Batch 01- Early 04 is AL-31FN-S-3, whilst late Batch 04 onwards it’s WS-10Bs… now gaijin hasn’t classified this as J-10C (Early) or (Late) and the belly rack for PL-12s + triple bomb rack were ONLY seen on very late batches and 2024. so we have stuff for it only found on late J-10Cs… and fyi late batch 04 was in 2021, so WS-10B J-10Cs are around 5 years old
And THIS is what I was most interested in. So then there is Zero reason to not have the WS-10 then

So does that mean that the missiles that can be mounted on the Gripen E that are already implemented in the game can also be mounted on the E Gripen with its powerful missiles? For example, the Derby.

yup! which is why there is no reason for it to not have WS-10Bs… if gaijin doesn’t want to give it to the plane then it should be renamed to J-10C (Early) and have it’s belly PL-12s removed. and giving us a J-10C (Late) later on
