Gripen E would not get better missiles without aircraft from other nations also getting the same. Right now neither of those missiles are coming to the game this update

The aircrafts of other nations has AIM120C-5, why Gripen E did not have it ?
It’s clear that they copy and pasted the Gripen C loadouts to the Gripen E as a sort of starting template and started editing it from there, so that probably explains the lack of C-5s.
However overall AIM-120A/B are still better than AIM-120C-5 in WT, especially for a plane like the Gripen E. Hell I would say the only planes that the C-5s are somewhat worth taking on are the EFTs and F-15E/I.

idk why people think that one aircraft will get special treatment when it comes to AAMs
im gonna be honest even on the EFT i havent really noticed the difference

Idk in my EFT, F-15E/I and maybe F-15C GE I sometimes feel like I can just get a tiny little bit more out of my C-5s at long range slinging, but then again that might also just be placebo.
The Gripen E, especially if it’s supposedly too low weight get’s corrected, just won’t really have the BVR flight performance to effectively do the long range stuff like the EFT and F-15s can.
If the gripen can reach 1.3M minimum at med to long range the C would be better

yeah idk they really need to rework C-5s they are just worse As atm which is so odd lol
it does concern me that in the future the Meteor will just be slightly faster AIM-120A (also calling it now gaijin will not model the throttle on the Meteor and it will burn all of its fuel in the first 15 seconds of flight, and when its bug reported it will be slapped with a “no other missile has this in game thus isnt a feature in game yet”

At closer ranges yes but the C is superior at long ranges which is why the EFT and 15E make use of them so much better
Idk if they’ll correct it’s supposedly incorrect (I read something about it being 700-1000 kg too light in the Gripen E thread, not sure how true that is) and how that will impact it’s performance if it gets changed.

Weight is currently based on brochure well before the Gripen E was made but weight reports are no long accepted
